Have to laugh about the criteria used.
So many people moving to Texas and the sunbelt.

Much lower cost of living compared to CA and the PNW. Lower taxes, lower unemployment, lower crime (gee imagine that, Idaho having lower crime, I wonder why...).

I have no issue with this. In fact I wish that they would put more effort into rage bait articles like this one so that it would scare people from blue shite holes away.

Utah is easily one of the most amazing places you can live in this country. Texas is also top of the list as well. I travel a lot and I’ve lived in both of those states and loved living in both of them. I am born and bred Louisiana and moved back home after we had kids, strictly for the family aspect. Louisiana has a lot of cons to deal with but it has an astronomical amount of upside as well.

It's a conpletely dumb list that makes absolutely zero logical sense when you consider the 5 year growth rate of these "worst states"
Here's where the 10 worst states to live along with the remaining SEC states not on the list rank in terms of % growth rate from 2020 to 2025. Doesn't look like the people who flocked to most of these worst states got the memo...
2) Florida - grew 8.9%
T3) Texas - grew 8.8% (2nd worst)
T3) South Carolina - grew 8.8%
9) Tennessee - grew 5.8% (worst)
T12) Georgia - grew 5.5% (5th worst)
T14) Oklahoma - grew 4.1% (9th worst)
18) Arkansas - grew 3.4% (10th worst)

Look at it this way. Net migration tells story of how the people feel about it.
The Governors of the top 10 net migration losers have got to be wondering what they did wrong, if they don’t already know.

Why is the state of Oklahoma always on these. Get off the highway and experience its beauty. Cost of living is great and it basically offers every commercial commodity you want. Ppl are nice and if you’re into meth just go north of Dallas to the border.
