There are several free parking garages about half a mile north of the stadium, near the Reynolds Alumni Building, the Carnahan Quadrangle, and Jesse Hall/Francis Quadrangle. Good place to set up a tailgate on the lawn and a pleasant walk through Greek Town to the stadium. Also, an easy walk to downtown bars and restaurants (Booche's, Shakespeare's, Old Heidelberg, Harpo's, Shiloh, Flat Branch, etc.). I would encourage you to spend a couple hours walking the campus. The "red" campus consists of traditional red brick buildings, and the "white" campus is made up of mostly white limestone buildings. It is flat and walkable and quite pretty in the fall with the leaves changing.

As another poster mentioned, the best tailgates are the big-dollar donor ones surrounding the stadium. Some are welcoming, some are not. I have had good success at the lot on the southwest corner of Providence and Stadium, in front of the Athletic Complex. They always have a lot of TVs with football games on.

If you get to CoMo early enough, you can park on the shoulder of Stadium Blvd. east and west of the stadium, or on Providence Rd south of Stadium. Easy in and out but a longer walk to campus.

You will have a great time. Tiger fans are welcoming and will treat you the way you treat them.

This is accurate. I hate lawyers 99.6% of the time.
We have always had a friendly rivalry with A&M, going back to our Big 12 days. I have been to many games in CS and attended several bonfires back in the day with Aggie friends.

I respect their civility and commitment to "honor, code, loyalty" (A Few Good Men reference). They can be over the top sometimes, but 99% are good people and I wish them well (after Saturday).

Me, too, but I will start rooting for them after Saturday.

That's because you can't count past 10 without taking your shoes off.

re: Missouri @ Vandy who you got?

3rd straight toss-up game.

My heart says Mizzou, but my memory says kicked-in-the-nuts loss in the most Mizzou-like fashion (5th down, Flea Kicker...).

Vandy by 2.

I love the SEC.

The road trips are amazing. The venues are iconic.

As an old guy, I loved the old Big 8, but road trips to Ames, Manhattan, Stillwater and Lincoln were awful.

Ditto. We have been to all but 2 SEC campuses and we have been treated well at all of them. Being old and cordial probably has something to do with it.

You left out the worst campus in the Big 8-Larryville kansas. Burn that MF down!

Yes, the mighty Fightin' Detroit Tigers. Last World Series Championship? 1984.

I remember them playing in the Orange Bowl a number of years ago and I believe they were undefeated going into the bowl game.

They had one loss (Mizzou).

Anyways, if you're betting, you would be smart to take Bama and the points. I think reality comes for Mizzou this Saturday.

Four questions for you:

1) Are you betting?
2) Are you smart?
3) How much money did you bet on Alabama?
4) How many points did you give?

You trailed the only two half decent teams (likely 7-5 at best) on your schedule so far in fourth quarter at home.

And beat them both. So, you're saying ku is going to finish 7-5 at best?

If only we had played kansass this year. Oh, wait...

I don't know what SP+ is, but Sagarin has Mizzou at #19 and South Carolina at #28. You conveniently left off Kansas, which Sagarin has at #43.

Surely you know that late-game comebacks are a sign of depth. Mizzou's reliance on the running game wears down defenses. I am looking for a big game from Ahmad Hardy.

Should be a great game with good football weather (80 degrees, partly cloudy). I'll be there.

Is it off-season already?

Let's talk about your football team, Ashley.
What did I miss? Did he get hurt?

I think you guys are jumping the gun. Texas still has 9 games to play and it's not his fault he was over-hyped coming into the season.

Losing at Ohio State is nothing to be ashamed of. Struggling against 2 patsies is a concern, but let's let this play out before you write him off.

BTW, I am decidedly NOT a Texas fan. In fact, this little bit of humility suits them well.
Did UCLA put a buyout clause in Nico's NIL?

In fact, A&M and Missouri still feel like outsiders after 13 years. You Texas fans have a long way to go.

Hell, most of you only begrudgingly acknowledge USCe and Arky as SEC.

We are scheduled to play next year at kansass. Then a 3-year gap, then home-and-home in 2030 and 2031.

I would love to see our AD's get together and fill in those 3 years with a home-and-home, then a neutral site game in Kansas City.
