Right.
Because the entrance requirements for Western Kentucky and West Point are basically identical.

Of course it was. CBS didn’t really broadcast as many games as all the other networks.

Yep, and Western Kentucky requires a congressional nomination too

Western Kentucky gets to recruit anyone
Service academies have a pool limited to who is willing to enlist

CBS gets the left over games from the B1G and they were all shite this year except Oregon-Indiana and no one thought Indiana would end up where they are
Yeah. CBS is paying B1G about 10x more than they did the SEC for less than half of the viewers they had. CBS screwed this one up.

They made such a great decision to drop the SEC
CBS didn't decide to drop the SEC.
The SEC told CBS to frick off when they asked for an extension, after having refused to increase the rates they agreed in 2008 when the conference expanded in 2012. SEC office told CBS they would regret it, and didn't let go of the grudge.

College football viewership rose 2% overall heading into conference championship weekend, with the SEC dominating the ratings landscape. ABC aired nine of the top 10 most-watched games, underscoring the conference's drawing power. Nielsen data (excluding SEC Network, ACC Network, and CBS Sports Network) highlights the biggest audience magnets.
Here are the Top 10 most-watched teams (average viewers per game on rated networks):
1. Alabama – 8.49 million
The Crimson Tide topped the list despite an early loss to Florida State. Key draws included the Iron Bowl win over Auburn (11.3 million viewers, fifth-most watched game).
2. Texas – 7.55 million
Arch Manning's first year as starter fueled massive interest, including the record Lone Star Showdown loss to Texas A&M and a Week 1 clash at Ohio State (16.6 million viewers).
3. Georgia – 7.48 million
The Bulldogs' overtime win at Tennessee (12.6 million) ranked fourth overall, boosting their average.
4. Ohio State – 6.57 million
The Buckeyes starred in the season's top two games: a 18.4 million-viewer win
over Michigan and the 16.6 million opener vs. Texas.
5. Oklahoma – 6.47 million
High-profile matchups like wins over Michigan (9.7 million) and rivalries against Texas elevated the Sooners.
6. LSU – 6.42 million
Multiple primetime games over 6 million viewers kept the Tigers strong, including the finale vs. Oklahoma.
7. Tennessee – 6.21 million
The Georgia thriller and other big slots propelled the Vols (note: six games on unrated SEC Network).
8. Auburn – 5.255 million
The Iron Bowl's 11+ million viewers lifted the Tigers into the top 10.
9. Michigan – 5.08 million
"The Game" against Ohio State drew a season-high 18.4+ million.
10. Texas A&M – 4.99 million
An 11-1 record and the revived rivalry win over Texas capped a strong ratings year.
Beyond the Top 10
11. Florida (4.68M)
12. Ole Miss (4.48M)
13. South Carolina (4.15M)
14. Florida State (4.07M)
15. Notre Dame (3.93M)
The SEC's grip on viewership remains firm, setting up big numbers for championships and the playoff ahead.

Moving A/N to the dead week after Championship weekend was really smart.
Glad we got the W and retained the CIC Trophy.

Their cameras were better at least.
I can't stand listening to Herbstreit, so the audio quality is about the same.
