I think it was more of a terrible athletic department at the time. They announced there was an internal investigation (or at least let it out). Twitter was to blame for starting marital issues. But the athletic department did nothing to stop the rumors.
And the investigation was because of mass exodus of players and staff, and I believe mainly stemmed from Derek Mason.

Defensive coaches usually have the most consistency. Or at least it seems that way to me. He’s also been an HC before, even though that didn’t end up well in the end.

I think it was a fumble. But also think the play should have never happened because the play before was a TD.
Gotta hold on to that ball regardless.
Also the targeting on Kaien Lee was not targeting and the roughing the passer was a bad call too.

How so? The top 4 SEC teams would all have a chance. It probably makes OOC games less important.
I get it. I think the SEC Championship should be built into the playoff format somehow. Like a 16 team tournament, but the first 2 rounds have 4 teams from each power 4 to determine the winner of the conference. The final 4 would just be the champions of each conference.
Really just a 4 team conference playoff to determine the 4 team NCAA playoff.

He brought in the kicker from Southern Miss (10/13) last year. Long of 59.
McGough was 19/22 his senior year of HS with a long of 60.

The position has been snake-bitten. McPherson went 6-7 as a freshman and 13-13 as a sophomore then got sick before the season started last year. Township McGough was the 4 highest kicker as a recruit but was 5-12 last year.
Coming into the season it looked like McPherson was good to go. Then he got sick again right before the season started. And McGough hurt himself on his first FG attempt of the year by kicking the ground and not the ball.

Losing to FSU and Auburn should knock you out. :lol: IMO losing the first game of the season is not as big of a deal as losing in November to a team you should beat. But winning the SEC championship would make it Automatic.
