He really was a big part of that backfield's success. A lot of times, the FB doesn't get the recognition. The great thing about Rob was eventhough he knew that he was making holes, he still was humble and extremely proud for those guys being successful.

He just turned 47 in late Feb. Very young to pass. Unfortunately he lived with kidney disease the past 20 years or so. He lost a lot of weight, but his heart was also an issue recently.
Still hard to believe he is gone.

Robert Tyler Jr has passed on to that football field in the sky. Rest in Peace my brother. He was a great guy and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He's currently on a ventilator in Lafayette. He has had kidney disease for years, and was recently in the hospital for heart failure.
