Best punt returners in SEC history?

I think Alabama's nominee for this is undoubtedly Javier Arenas. I know some older fans will cite David Palmer but Arenas put up more yardage, had a higher punt return average, and scored more TDs than the Deuce.

LSU fans will say Kevin Faulk because of his numbers. He was the best at fielding punts - it was impossible to kick it away from him, but worthy of your consideration is Patrick Peterson, Trindon Holliday, Dominic Davis, or the Honey Badger

Ace Sanders has to be included in the discussion.

Dexter Mccluster.
Did more in the NFL returning than he did in college.

Not a punt but I still have PTSD from Percy Harvin running a kickoff that he muffed back for six against us in 2008.

Derek Abney
Consensus AA Kick Returner.
Pretty sure he had two games with two returns. Set some NCAA and SEC records.

Brandon James seemed like he broke several against us also.

He wasn't SEC at the time, but way back in the day I would watch Texas play just to see with kind of plays that Eric Metcalf would make.

New School when I was there - Joe Adams. Nuff said.
Old School - Kenny Hatfield. Legend.
GOAT - Lance Alworth.

This isn't punt returns but Evan Berry is the greatest kick off returner Ive ever seen

Scott Woerner, a 2016 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, is one of the most prolific return specialists in University of Georgia history. Over his four-year career (1977–1980), he totaled over 2,200 yards across punt, kickoff, and interception returns.

Still holds the SEC career record for all-purpose yards with 6,833 yards. I was in college when he played. He was incredible.

For his collegiate career, Berry finished first in NCAA and SEC history with 34.3 kickoff return yards per attempt and his four return touchdowns are tied for the most in SEC history
Berry also had more total return yards than Felix Jones
