Scott Woerner, a 2016 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, is one of the most prolific return specialists in University of Georgia history. Over his four-year career (1977–1980), he totaled over 2,200 yards across punt, kickoff, and interception returns.
He was one of the toughest PR men I've ever seen play the college game.
He was absolutely fearless.

Javier Arenas and Tyrone Prothro are the biggest unsung heroes of the "oughts"

Still holds the SEC career record for all-purpose yards with 6,833 yards. I was in college when he played. He was incredible.
announcers right before this talk about Notre Dame saying they didn't want to kick it to Faulk, then he did this

Ace Sanders has to be included in the discussion.
for us that would be Keisean Nixon. He didnt really return in college but has made a living for Green Bay
But that is because he was behind Deebo Samuel, who imo was a better returner than Ace Sanders

More recent UGA guys are Brandon Boykin and Isaiah McKenzie. Boykin won the Hornung Award.

four return touchdowns are tied for the most in SEC history
With who?
Also, who did Jones split return duty with? I’ll give you a hint, he was a pretty big deal…

I believe Eddie Jackson is up there. He didn't get as many chances due injury. He housed his first attempt against Ole Miss. I like this one vs Tennessee. The way he takes his eyes on and off the ball while reading coverage is textbook.
Once he moved from CB to S he set the Alabama record for interception return yards.

I don't know about the best returner, but the best fair catcher was Logan Grey, our 3rd string qb

A few LSU guys I loved to watch were Kinchen and Kennison. Not the best but fun to watch for me.

State has a couple that have been extraordinarily good…Tony James & Kevin Prentiss.
