Another chance to teach a lesson about action/consequences was lost. No surprise his son failed to get the message.

So no real issues addressed.

Need some adults in the room to get this sorted. Coaches are going to get fed up and the product will start to suffer.

Became a Raiders fan back when this bomber was chucking it all over the place.
This new one has a long row to hoe.

It's like he was built to coach LSU. A seemingly perfect fit.

i've never been a "fan" of the NCAA but the last 5 years sure has me longing for some, ANY, kind of governing body that can actually enforce shite.
Always wondered why colleges didn't start an alternate entity.
Of course that wouldn't have assured better governance. Firm believer in the Dilbert principle: you get promoted to your highest level of incompetence.
The NCAA has never looked more incompetent than the last several years.

Part of 2023 was Devin Leary didn’t look comfortable in the offense until the Louisville game. Plus we lost the offensive line excellence that Jon Schlarman achieved.
Yep, Leary spent a lot of time on his back that season. No doubt we were missing Schlarman's outstanding coaching but I felt our predictability was the real culprit.
My biggest gripe with our offense that season, and a theme throughout Stoops' tenure, was after establishing a running game we'd fail to utilize play action. Especially when we'd throw on first down which led me to believe Stoops was calling plays.

He was a good OC going up against superior talent. We won ten games his first time around.
No doubt, I did a poor job making my point.
Cohen’s first stint in ’21 Robinson stretched the field (up to that point one of my biggest gripes with Stoops’ offenses) which helped C Rod average over 6 yards/carry. That was a fun to watch, well-balanced offense.
But it was like those lessons were lost on Stoops when Cohen came back in ’23. That squad had some really good receivers that were underutilized and why I was questioning who to blame when an offense under performs.

Damn, tx is on one today.
Looked earlier and Comegys had 5 birdies in the first 6 holes.
That's a good start for a scramble.

Too bad they hired an absolute fraud at OC to waste all that talent.
A lot of criticism from LSU fans and hoping the issue was BK.
Liam Cohen had two stints under Stoops as OC and was pretty meh.
Now he’s head coach in Jacksonville and has the Jags humming. Was he a good OC but just had his hands tied or is he a better HC than OC? Probably a bit of both.
Have a feeling Stein will be heavily involved with game planning and play calling.

This team is gonna be fun.
Hope so, watching our offense the last couple of seasons was painful. Would like to see a more aggressive defense as well.
We need some WR's and don't see any coming in but it's still early.
