Emmitt Smith. He was the team from 1987-1989. He should have stayed for Spurriers first season in 1990 and may have won the Heisman.

That whole team had to be the straw that broke the Brian Kelly back considering how good the offense was only to lose 3 games.

He won the 2009 Big XII Championship despite trying to piss it away with that soft toss out of bounds as time almost expired.

For Texas it's got to be Kevin Durant in hoops and honestly in football it's Cedric Benson, Derrick Johnson, Roy Williams, & Bijan Robinson to name a few pretty decent NFL players who missed both.
