Best player from your school to never win a conference or national title

As an Alabama fan, I figured I would lead off with Derrick Thomas. He left for the NFL the year before Alabama tied with Tennessee and Auburn for a 3-way split for the conference title in 1989.
Career numbers:
Set school record with 52 quarterback sacks and 74 tackles behind the line of scrimmage ... Unanimous first-team All-American selection ... Awarded the Butkus Award in 1988 given to the best collegiate linebacker ... Finished 10th in the Heisman Trophy voting.
27 sacks his senior year (1988).

For Mizzou fans, this question simply becomes "name your best player since 1970".

There are plenty of, but I’ll go with Wes Chandler

Due to “Hack-a-Shaq”
Bricking the front end of 1-and-1’s does not bode well for victory.
The team with Shaq, Chris Jackson, Fat Stanley, etc….loaded. SMH.

Reggie White and/or Eric Berry
Both were standouts who never won a conference or national title.

As I said, Shaq. Reg season championships mean squat in college basketball.

Off the top of my head I’ll go with Matt Stafford or Terrell Davis.

Probably Jayden Daniels.
If it's a nontransfer, Leonard Fournette.

Easy one, Colt McCoy. Denied by Bama no less.

Reggie White
He is the greatest player in SEC history to not win an SEC or national title

I don't care what the banner says. It doesn't count as a true championship.
As an Auburn fan you of all people should appreciate the difference between reality and what a school claims.

The conference claims them as well...
so yes, Shaq won a conference title - regardless of your personal feelings
