When I first learned of a coach who shall remain nameless, jumping out of a burning dumpster in Tallahassee and landed on a 7 million dollar stuffed mattress at The Always Mediocre University!

I don't know, but whatever UT's answer I disagree.

I know you’re stupid. I eluded to that earlier in the thread when you were busy telling me to yell at clouds and then calling me an old man.
You following along now or do you still not know what I’m talking about?

Do you care how much Bill Gates spends on his yacht? No? Then why do y'all continue to say that Jimbo is a bad hire because of how much money he is being paid?

When Joker was recruiting against MAC schools for players. Hartline getting arrested before the bowl game and losing to Pitt was the big “well frick” moment.
So nothing’s really changed, except more wins.

The 2012 season when Mike Stoops pulled all of the LBers out of the game against WVU and Tavon Austin lined up in the backfield and ran for 344 yards and 2 TDs by himself.
That was the first of multiple bad records set against Oklahoma defenses during Mike's tenure here.

When JFF lit OU up in the Cotton Bowl, I swear it looked like Bob wanted to slap his brother around. That was pretty comical.

A lot of UGA fans will say that they knew that Richt was done when we lost 38-10 to Alabama in the rain, but I knew that the clock was ticking after he blew the Ga Tech game in 2014 by squib kicking with 00:13 left or something.
Of course, you really knew that UGA wasn't going to win anything after the 2012 SECCG, but I didn't feel like his firing was inevitable until he blew that 2014 Tech game.

Johnny Jones was always a questionable hire, but he slowly got the program to the NCAAT after 3 seasons (and promptly blew a huge lead on NC St in 1st game of NCAAT to lose), then he built that 2015-16 team for his 4th year with Ben Simmons and other star players on it, thought he could actually get it done with that kind of talent.
But no, what did he do with the #1 overall pick Ben Simmons, Antonio Blakeney, Tim Quarterman, Craig Victor, Keith Hornsby, etc etc...Lose 14 games, FOURTEEN. Only go 11-7 in the SEC and in the 2nd game of the SEC Tournament manage to lose 71-38 to A&M, a loss so bad there was zero hope of making the NCAAT after that. That LSU team lost to a 16-17 NC State team, 17-14 College of Charleston team, a Houston team which did NOT make the NCAAT, and an absolutely awful 11-20 Wake Forest team...just in non conference play. He still managed to lose 7 SEC games as well losing to bad/mediocre Arkansas, Tennessee and Alabama teams too.
It was during that non conference though we pretty much knew Jones was a terrible coach if that much talent couldnt overcome his coaching.

Kim Anderson
Top 20 recruiting class and some good pieces left over. Lost the first game to UMKC, and won 9 games total. He then won 10 games the next season with 0 team improvement.
I will never understand the administration incompetence to not fire his arse, but let him implode our program even further, winning 8 games his final year.
Football wise, "climb on Woody's Wagon" Woody Widenhofer.
Bob Stull never righted the ship
