2019 LSU played 5 top 10 teams in their first 9 games.

2025 OSU has played a total of 2 ranked teams, and will only play maybe 1 more in the regular season.
Aggie DL overwhelming Mizzou OL. Texas A&M explosive offensive takes early 2 TD lead and coasts the rest of the game. I have no clue how this opened at -5.5 and only -7. Texas A&M is a terrible matchup vs Mizzou and game will be over by half as Mizzou is unable to get going on offense.
We did everything better than Vandy except going 1-5 in the red zone. Got kinda screwed on the non holding call on the big run. Pribula out for the year is deflating. Flip side is we get to see Zollers who is the future. Hopefully the young guys get playing time as we are out of the cfp picture. Hopefully Kirby Moore finds a G5 job in the offseason.
Mizzou is going to finish 8-4 or worse. The offense is held back by Kirby Moore in the red zone and now with Zollers it’s going to be tough sledding. The defense is good and will keep them in.
Northern Illinois won at Notre Dame last year and ND played in the national title game.

this upcoming week is going to be blood bath as well

ABC:
LSU @ Vandy
Ole Miss @ Georgia
Tenn @ Bama

FOX:
Wash @ Mich
TTech @ ASU
Utah @ BYU

CBS:
Ohio @ Wisconsin

NBC:
USC @ Notre Dame

NBC will be the highest rated but its going right up against Tenn @ Bama

Other interesting items to where these teams have fallen:

SMU @ Clemson ACCN (My bet is beginning of the season this was penciled in ABC/ESPN)
Penn St @ Iowa Peacock
Michigan St @ Indiana Peacock
Oregon @ Rutgers BTN

I don't understand why putting the biggest brands on stream only and the equivalent to SECN

Obviously we prefer home night games, especially big games like this.

But everyone in the conference has a noon or 1, 2 afternoon-evening flex, and dedicated night game for the 4 home SEC home games. This one was just the predetermined noon game selected by the SEC back in June. This was the first year they did it like this instead of flexing every game 2 weeks or 6 days prior.

This game slot has been known since June, how do you all not comprehend this.

Going into the game vs Bama, Vandy's schedule was nothing either. They had a ton of hype going into the game.

I am not saying the Mizzou roster is elite, but its way more talented Vandy's. Mizzou is pretty stacked for Mizzou standards, and in the middle of the pack overall in the SEC. They have killed it in the transfer portal the last 2 seasons.

Mizzou has some weaknesses that Alabama should exploit. The secondary is spotty, and prone to big plays. If Mizzou plays the ball control game, Alabama can get right back in it with busted coverages/big plays. I also worry about Mizzou's ability to consistently play their offense vs Alabama. Mizzou might be able to run the ball, we will see. But if they get off schedule, Alabama should be able to get off the field defensively, unless Mizzou makes plays. The OL for Mizzou is questionable on passing situations, and Beau hasn't been the best in the pocket.

Mizzou should be able to stop or contain Alabama run game. They should also pressure Simpson. If they are able to force some errors/turnovers, it could end up being close game.

As a Mizzou fan, Mizzou can't make mistakes or it can snowball. We saw it in the kansas game and South Carolina where a turnover led to them being down. Mizzou was able to stay the course vs those teams and win by 2 scores. I don't see that being the case vs this Bama team. I think Mizzou can win the game. They can do it without even playing a perfect game. But I Alabama's strengths I think end up overwhelming Mizzou's weaknesses.

re: 24/7 Team Composite Ranking

Easy fix would be to keep the recruiting rankings for the players from HS that haven't transferred out no matter what year they are in, and then for those that do transfer use the transfer rankings. It will never be exact team talent/composite, but that way it does factor in transfer portal additions more accurately. For Mizzou specifically, Hardy is listed as NA. He was a 4* transfer.

Thanksgiving weekend/Rivalry week

Alabama vs Auburn
Arkansas vs LSU
Georgia vs Georgia Tech
Florida vs Florida St
Kentucky vs Louisville
Mississippi St vs Ole Miss
Missouri vs Oklahoma
South Carolina vs Clemson
Tennessee vs Vanderbilt
Texas vs Texas A&M
I wouldn't blame A&M for being upset not getting either one of Arkansas or LSU
It would mean Arkansas has Texas, Mizzou, and 1 more
Rumor is Mizzou is getting matched with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Texas A&M with Mizzou, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Oklahoma with Texas, Texas A&M, and Mizzou.

Texas with Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Illinois 17-7, Arkansas 12-4

For those of the Mizzou belongs in the Big 12 crowd, Mizzou has a winning record or tied with all the current Big 12 programs (never played Cincinnati). None of you can claim that one too, except Florida.

I think Mizzou has too many new pieces to feel confident of a great season (CFP). Not many teams can replace QB, RB, top 2 WR, and 2 NFL OL to be great the next season. Would give Drink a portal grade of a A. Can see anything from 6-6 to 10-2. Would be disappointed not getting to 8 regular season wins tho. It’s a talented group on both sides though. This is really Drink’s most talented on paper overall. Even with that said it’s still right in the middle of the conference. Secondary worries me most on defense. Schedule might be favorable compared to others in the conference but it’s not easy. Will probably be a dogfight every game. No offense to Miss St but that is the only conference game where I see a loss would be shocking. I see the QB situation as Drink needing to make decision and not drag out going into ku game week. Both being named captains is odd.
Coffman and Rucker is probably up there too, same with Ray and Golden.

lol Schrader isn't even the best RB instate to play at Mizzou.
