re: Would you want to be like Oklahoma and lose every year in the playoffs or win a bowl game? - Philippines4LSU on 1/24/20 at 2:49 am
This year with tua out, I think bama could have given Oklahoma a decent game. Maybe even keep it within a 10 to 13 point loss. Had Jones had more than one start before they played Auburn they win that game as well,...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

If LSU wasn’t in it, I’d enjoy seeing any of the little 9 schools play for the SEC Championship. The game is more fun when everyone can go into the season with high hopes that this could be the year for their team. I would say the same for other conferences as well. Back in the day, schools like ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
I think the real point is teams from the South are dominant. If you were to include Clemson, FSU, VA Tech and Miami in those figures the data would be further skewed to southern dominance. Just look at the NCs since 1980...dominant.
Clemson is legit and both FSU and Miami were legi...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Steele was only here because Alleva didn’t have the stones to fire Les after 2014, and thought it was a good idea to turn fan sentiment against him by sabotaging his attempt to bring in Aranda. Simulator I used had 2019 LSU beating 2001 Miami on a neutral field 34-27. Burrow was the game MVP (shocker).
It’s not often you have a QB who has the best season ever for a QB
I can’t even put up Burrow-type numbers on Xbox unless I lower the difficulty level. The arguments to diminish what LSU accomplished this year are all equally ridiculous. The same people saying “one-hit wonder” will tell you that Alabama has carried the water for conference and that everyone else is riding their coattails. Nevermind the fact that the SEC has won 13 of the las...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

We’re in the exact same spot we were after winning 5 of 7 to pull to 6-9 early in the season, right before our 15 game losing streak. At the time, we were 3.5 games behind the #8 team in the West. It’s wild that this team could potentially make the playoffs after starting 6-22....
