Which of the two would you rather like to see rise up to prominence again? So all the good years under Fulmer for Tenneessee or Tuberville's success in the 2000's? So both in their respective hay day...

I don't think anyone wishes anything good for Tennessee.

If I have to pull for some SEC team to rise to prominence, it wouldn't be either of those two. I'd rather see long-suffering fans of Arkansas, or Kentucky, or Miss. St. get something to cheer about.

Tuberville's success in the 2000's

Tubs' success was probably a bit more consistent 2000-2007, but we reached higher heights post Tuberville in the 2010s

2010: National Champs
2013: National Runner up
2014: spent 9 weeks in the Top 5
2017: ranked #2 going into SEC Championship weekend

Even 2019-2020 were decent... ranked in 27 out of 29 AP poll releases.

I'd take that era (even with some of its roller coaster nature) over the Tuberville er.

Ranked Auburn vs Ranked LSU games >>>>> Ranked Tenn vs Ranked UF games

I look forward to Lane making smart arse remarks about Auburn and Golesh ignoring Lane post game handshake.

But gun to my head, Tennessee

Auburn gives Bama fits in JHS regardless of how good they are so nothing would change there

Honestly, it feels like CFB would be old school again if Tennessee went back to being a power. Obviously that’s bad for Alabama but that’s an honest answer, hate them, but they have history and 3rd Saturday in October is so much better when they are good.
