It's about hypocrisy.
The correct answer, Mr. Lee, is just "No. Reserving seats for fallen servicemen and women is not political." Then, if he still wanted to make his point, he would elaborate on why he felt the carrying of the flag was (which I disagree with - I don't think it's political).
Instead he went right to the moral outrage, instead of seeing the point the man was making. Carrying the flag out isn't political; now, if the player right behind it was carrying a banner reading, "If you don't love America you should leave!" then yeah, that'd be political.

The trouble is this arsehole will climb the media corporate ladder partly because of his crap woke politics. I wonder why everything I like about my country is suddenly “political” and must be banned, while everything I dislike about what is happening must be tolerated?
National anthem, flag respect, history, statues of dead great men, statues of dead maybe great men, church, pride in what the US gave to the world, honor, straight talk, look level in others eyes, shake hands (not Covid hug other men), don’t spike the ball, sportsmanship, open doors for and stand up when ladies come in room, don’t dress like homeless, don’t dress like a street walker or rock singer and think that is “dressing up.”
BLM, antifa, orange paint on public statues, Columbus statues beheaded, CRT in 2nd grade classrooms, FBI tracking every person at capital hill riot while ignoring Hilary server, Biden computer, IRS, antifa rioters, massive overseas organized phone scams of seniors, etc. be dismissed? Not to mention coaches with after-sex pictures all over the internet, STTDB being chanted in national TV, etc.,

Small town paper like that people need to hit up the local businesses that advertise in that rag and let them know if they continue to support this dipshit their businesses will suffer.
