Baton Rouge crime statistics have dropped over the last 20 years. Look at the data.

Are you saying some anecdotal trip through the bad neighborhoods in Tuscaloosa trumps actual dead bodies piling up? Baton Rouge has the 6th highest murder rate in the country. The average murder rate from 2015-2018 in BR was 30.5 per 100k. The average murder rate in Tuscaloosa over the same time period is 8.75.
