Bros quivering in his boots at first.

A fair analysis of the team is that it won’t be a tournament team.
Go look at the 2026 championship odds on Fan Duel. We’re an abysmal 32nd on the list. So someone thinks we have a chance.

Thanks MSU for the sell.

Stanford threw a guy 156 in 2023.

Thank god we’re finally covering Mulkey’s rudeness. Totally never been covered before.

Our team literally was night and day in May from March last season. And every season ever really.
Insane to think we won’t be a better version of this team as the season progresses. And good news is we only really need to get better at one thing…

re: Someone please help me understand what Alleva did wrong at LSU

He acted off of emotion.
Les Miles should’ve been fired a season earlier but he was carried off the field and he caved.
Then he went after the big name in Tom Herman, which is entirely what you should always do at an LSU. Make the big name tell you no. But when he ended up left at the alter for Tom’s Alma mater, he acted on emotion again and acted like Ed O was always the guy, instead of continuing his coach search the right way.
It worked out in that case, for a while, but the writing was on the wall that we had an AD that could stand in the kitchen, but not take the heat.
When you go after big names, they tell you no, and the media pushes all kinds of dumb narratives, you just have to ignore them.

re: Stingley 3 year $90mm ($89mm guaranteed)

Stingley Agent: “We want the entire contract guaranteed”.
Houston: “Come on, you have to work with us a little, we need some relief”.
Agent: “Ok, what’s a number you will accept”.
Houston: “offer us any number lower than 90, and we will feel like we won”.
Agent: “Ok, 89 mm”
Houston: “Deal”.

re: Carr starts 2025; What does Loomis do Now with Carrs $69.2 million cap hit in 2026 ?
Posted by BROpaneTANK on 3/10/25 at 11:25 am
If the saints do what they should do (Slowly shed age and money while agressively getting younger) then Carr’s Capp hit in 2026 doesn’t really matter to me.
Only thing I want the saints to do is nail a couple consecutive drafts and have money to pay those guys in 2028/2029 so we don’t have to watch half them walk like we did with Hendrickson and Williams.
Yes we’re still having to restructure to get compliment but the front office has handled the last two off seasons differently than 2015-2022 years. We spent hardly any money last offseason on FA’s, and only restructured to get a little below what we needed. And looks like we’re doing that again. There’s reason for optimism that Loomis and co has at least mildly learned their lesson.

The Last of Us has to be the most insanely over-milked IP of all time. The amount of mileage they've managed to get out of 1 really good game is absurd.
A second game, and a show in its second season?

There’s a valid gripe here but the parking is a small part of it. My wife had a small procedure last year, that initially started as a $3000 dollar co-insurance charge on a $20k, procedure that ended up more like $3800 after all the little random bills that kept showing up. On top of the $300 pre-op exam. $100 bill for a lab charge, $150 to the on-site pharmacy, $300 to anesthesiology that’s its own entity. All covered somewhat by insurance, but the bills just kept showing up over following month.
They think it’s ok because they’re all small, and they think we’re not smart enough to distinguish that because they’re not the $20k sticker price of the procedure, that they’re a bargain.

Well considering we are talking about paying players , calling them cheap makes zero sense
The NFL requires you to keep all your guarantee’s salary for an entire length of a contract in escrow. The minute you sign a contract it has to be moved into an account. The Bengals owner is one of, if not the, cash poorest owners in the league and as a result he’s always avoided handing out too much guaranteed money. That’s what some people mean when they talk about him being cheap.

I’ll never downvote 28.3. Sadly.

They keep bringing up how they are looking forward to things being revealed in court while they keep making attacks of character outside of court.
Sounds to me like they’re trying to muddy the waters to force LSU’s hand in a settlement.

If anyone is wondering how this story went uncovered for a year and then suddenly got platformed on GMA out of nowhere.

What do you expect? Brian Kelly quit on their team a week before they were possibly going to make the playoff. They should hate him. They were winning playoff games while we were sitting at home.
Brian Kelly’s buyout at the time he left was $2.5 million. He was asking for more assistant money and a new football ops center and facilities.
They didn’t want to invest more in him and his program so he took a $100 million dollar offer that ND didn’t want to match. Fine, it worked out. But that offer from LSU wasn’t waiting for the playoff selection to be over.
Since then they’ve hired Denbrock for $2.5 million. Golden for $2.5 million. They have a new football facility opening in 2026. They have invested heavily in NIL.
Him leaving woke them up.

Half of this board is celebrating the fact that Notre Dame just lost in the national championship while LSU went 8-4
That’s because Notre Dame spent the last month dunking on Brian Kelly deep down knowing how tonight was going to go.
We won a national championship with 2 coaches that hold their own category on the autism spectrum. We won’t win or lose a championship because Brian Kelly is grumpy. And they won’t win one because their coach is “hot” and says cool stuff.

Fitting for OSU to join LSU as 2-loss champions.
re: Ole Miss might have gone 16-0 with Judkins…

It doesn’t get the nearly the coverage it deserves how much of a miscalculation it was for Kiffin to think he was above managing Judkins ego.
Then he goes and leaves his best RB on the bench all year while he loses games.
