re: The Tigue (ULL BSB stadium) caught fire

Hmmm insurance fraud for a new scoreboard???
Meh. I’d still rather send my kids to St. Amant.
It seems like any job like this turns into nothing but a big waste of money and resources.

What was that like? Did it make you sick?
I feel like this has always been an issue in the BR area.
I want to go to this game so bad, but I also know it’s probably a very bad idea. Don’t be surprised if you have a Louisiana license plate, you come back to find your tires have been slashed. Or maybe some Ole Piss fans jump you, you’ll be the one who’s arrested and goes to jail, because you’re from Louisiana…

Have you seen what Russia is doing with FPV drones now? They are flying them down the street attacking civilians. Sky News did a story about 3 weeks ago about this Ukraine man that was attacked. He was probably about 60 or a little older. He was some kind of street car vender. He was working and this drone popped out of nowhere. FPV type. It scanned around and then saw him. Started chasing him around his cart. The inevitable finally happened it caught up with him and exploded. It didn’t kill him but it wounded him pretty bad. There is a video of the attack. I was thinking watching that story that I was watching terrorist next tactic being born right before my very eyes. A country like Iran can buy a bunch of these things and send proxies to Mexico to terrorize US border towns. Probably working with the Cartels since we are killing them now they won’t feel bad about getting even. Cartels could even start attacking the US themselves. It’s scary to think about.

I sure did. It’s terrifying. That’s straight up terrorism too.

Ukrainian military has been doing the same thing to the Russian invaders too, but those are legitimate targets. Russians drone strikes towards civilians haven’t been as legitimate. Still doesn’t take away how terrifying and scary that has to be, to be chased around by a drone. Like the drones are playing with you, and then wham. You’ve been blown up.

I don’t think people really understand just how much life is about to change due to drones and the threat of drones. The Russia-Ukraine war will be the driver of it. The drones being deployed and tactics being used in that war is absolutely horrific. Terror attacks in the future will not look like 9-11, Oct 7, or even something like the Pulse Nightclub. They will play out on our streets with FPV drones and quadcopter drones.

Yeah these things are going to have a huge impact. I’m honestly surprised that some nut hasn’t done anything with a drone yet. Drones are terrifying tbh and I hate seeing those things flying around.
I only know Dogs that have been bitten by venomous snakes.
Is his body going to be there or is he being buried before Aug 25th?
I wonder what country is providing these nuts with nuclear material and WMD…

Retired doc here. Watched film from last week of Coach O at practice. He was walking around very gingerly, looking like he was favoring his right hip. Hopefully, it’s some arthritis and a little dehydration and hopefully we’ll see him back soon.

That’s what I was kind of thinking. Hip or back problems. Maybe he had to have hip replacement surgery.

The prices for hats these days is outrageous. Most hats now a days are uglier than homemade sin anyways.
You guys act like we’re not just as bad as China when it comes to producing bad food and products for a huge population of people. Our food is probably more contaminated and worse than Chinese food is. Our demands for food exceed the safety and economics of producing food.
LSU is too cheap to do that. We can’t buyout sucky coaches contracts if we’re buying up crime infested property.
We didn’t join WWII to save the Jews like a lot of people think.

Lmao. There’s no more living out of sight. They know where you’re at no matter what. There’s no reversing this course. So like I said, as long as you aren’t a criminal and aren’t someone who does the wrong things, then you should have nothing to worry about. This is no worry for the people who believe in law and order. We are a nation of rules.

I remember looking at this one time. I think it’s the constitution itself and the interplay of a few clauses. Seems like they’d have to change the constitution first to do so.

Exactly. They’re not like the corrupt and totalitarian country of Russia, where the President just changes the constitution to however he sees fit. Ukraine believes in the constitution and rule of law.
I mean, unless you’re planning on doing something bad or illegal, why would you be worried about this? You have nothing to worry about if you’re doing things right.
Hegseth is the main clown of the circus. He would get destroyed.
Tennessee decided to take away some of LSU’s allotment for that game.
