And your inability to properly use what I would assume is your native language is beyond understanding. Indeed, it is perplexing. Such ineffectiveness, coupled with any expansion on your original thought, effectively kills any hope you ever had conveying a complete, coherent thought.

Congratulations, you suck at the English Language! Twice!

ND was America's team because they were the only one on TV every weekend.

Every team is on TV every weekend now.

and a lot of average americans with no ties to Notre dame or the state rooted for ND. No one outside of Alabama roots for Alabama.....so no is the answer

As much as everybody that's not in the SEC hates the SEC? Hell no, Bama is nobody's 'favorite' team, except for some gumps.

Notre Dame has been "America's Team" largely due to their huge Catholic following. People who otherwise wouldn't follow college football are "Notre Dame fans" because they're a catholic school.

So, it's the same with bama just with white trash people all across America

Just curious, did you attend and/or graduate from the University of Alabama?

Alabama is by far the most recognizable name for the last few years and they have by far the biggest name coach, but just because you are recognizable doesn't mean you are 'America's Team.'

Alabama is America's team about as much as Miami was back in their glory days.

Alabama has a great football program but that's not enough? Why would anyone aspire to be America's team?

Notre Dame fans were all out of ammunition and then you do this. Unreal.

People in LA and Hollywood like us. They always give me a Roll Tide when they hear i'm from Alabama.

they are most likely mocking you.

i live in LA and know a ton of ND fans and you will always see people with a nd jersey, hat etc. I don't recall ever seeing anyone with alabama gear on. I do see a lot of texas apparel.

Bama is just the newest bandwagon. It was USC in the early to mid 2000s.

^^This. Many of the new fans had Miami gear in the 80's and FSU gear in the 90's. If you are a casual fan, you pick the latest hot team. It will shift again if Bama regresses.

Default teams for bandwagon shift with results. It gives some people hope to identify with a winner. In pro football, the Seahawks have developed some wagoneers with just 1 super bowl. In the 70's these people were for Dallas or Pittsburg.

No!!

But to be fair ND is the only non regional/ state fan base. It's just on another level , for fan base no matter how the program is currently winning.
