Agree UF was best for Gilbert. Glad he saw past Kirbys 3 game audition by trying to throw to the TEs. It was BS and glad he didn’t fall for it. Many people said Tre McKitty was the most impressive TE at the senior bowl with great hands in the passing game. He got 106 yards with UGA last year. Lol

Meh. He’s a generational talent/size TE, but if he’s going to leave, I can’t think of a better place for him to end up as an LSU fan—in Dan’s dysfunctional locker room

Go home. AG made the choice he thought was best for him to get paid in the NFL. Tech was never even considered by AG even though it’s 20 minutes from his house so why are you here?
I hate having to waste a game on Tech every year, but that ‘3 game audition’ offense will be about 12 games in by the time it rolls around next year and here’s hoping Kirby doesn’t feel sorry for GT again and takes his foot off the gas like he has the last 3 times.

Thank god now we can move the frick on. We played better without his pussy diva arse anyway. Jack Bech will be twice the player this frickstick was. Didn’t even mention LSU in his commitment message shows you the class and character he has. Have fun catching passes from Emory Jones’ pathetic arse. Florida QB room looks comically bad.
Seriously though, how do you really feel about this guy?

Dude was recruited insanely hard by McElwain to come to UF (I believe he was from Tampa), ended up going to FSU under Willie T and eventually transferring to UGA. Did shite-all at Florida's two biggest rivals except have the gif made of him lining up backwards

UF has a 5 time free pass on weed testing... so Gilbert is feeling better.

If that were the case, Brad Stewart would've never got suspended

Players quitting on their team is as dysfunctional as I can imagine.
Not talking about an occasional transfer, but opting out part of or even an entire season.

We'll take him. I think he could never understand cajunese slang and had to have translation book handy.
Me thinks he wants to be the next Kyle Pitts and be a high draft pick.
LSU fans are throwing crap at him now and it just confirmed what he found out in La. ....these people are crazy loons.

He’s a great talent. He’s also clinically BI-POLAR and prone to everything that entails. Because of that I think LSU fans need to lay off the criticism and Gator fans might want to hold off on the victory lap. Arik’s challenge has nothing to do with football.

I love that people here have actually forgotten just how good Mullen is at QB development. Jones is a better running Franks at worst. Which still won ten games.

There what we saw in a COVID season and there's what we saw at LSU. Something down there was tearing that team apart. It started with the BLMs stuff with the players and the apparent disconnect with special ed. He has lost some player-coach tractor for that mess up and frankly, it was probably the biggest asset Orgeron had going for himself. The best players started opting out early and it just never slowed down. Chase, Shelvin, Farrell, Vincent before you could kick the ball off all the way to Marshall on the eve of the Bama game and Gilbert after the slaughter in BR.
Say what you like but special ed had no success in circling the wagons when adversity showed up. It's going to be interesting if LSU comes out and lays another egg early on.

LSU fans pre-transfer: Arik Gilbert is the best TE in the conference!!
LSU fans post-transfer: Gilbert sucks. Worst TE ever.

are you just ignoring the fact that damn near the entire team is returning for next season.
Bama fans are delusional. How many football (college and pro) teams didn't have a single player miss game time due to covid issues?

Marshall opted out at what would've been the end of the normally scheduled season. He had an offseason draft prep schedule to stick to.

I mean they finished 2-0 when basically no one gave them a shot to do so.

I think the biggest difference is that Jones can run and we were built for the air raid this season
So a pass catching te that by all accounts didn’t like to block at LSU just went to a team that will base its offense around a running qb that doesn’t throw good? This kid is just dumb.
