Yeah.... figured that one out, did you?

That’s nice. Maybe he should go back to a program like that bc It’s not an accomplishment at UF. A program that should be competing for national titles every year shouldn’t be going 8-4.

The LSU game and bowl game have left a poor taste in UF fans mouth from this past season. But overall he gets way more shite than he should.

He’s accomplished nothing in 3 years at Florida. And has 0 to show for after 12 years as a head coach in this conference. FYI, if he loses to UGA next year he’ll have the same record Muschamp did against them after 4 seasons.

Gilbert has already done a lot more as a true frosh than Kyle Pitts did here at UF...Pitts didnt actually start getting that many snaps til he was a soph. Kids have a hard time getting on the field much as true frosh unless they are very talented right at jump street.

Obvious that Gilbert has talent and Mullen will have him plugged into the system.

LSU has had a bad habit of calling folks pussies...I member that in 2016 we heard all year we were pussies for not wanting to play in hurricane's path...I wish we could have played....cause wasn't that big a deal in Gainesville, but LEOs had already been sent to the east coast and other areas where damage was heavy. A football game is nothing compared to safety.

We were pissed off and played in red stick instead of playing at home...but we showed the tigahs what the hell we were made of...I will never forget the look on the cajnuts faces after we had a 99 yd TD pass and they realize this wasn't going to be a 38-0 rout as some azzs had spouted off about. Don't ever write a check with your mouth that your azz can't cash.

Gilbert is a solid receiver, had some drops but was a reliable target

UF coaches are going to have to convince him to be willing block, he seems pretty hesitant to do so.

If he became a sufficient and willing blocker it would do wonders for his NFL career and likely his draft status

I am not going to call him a pussy, he is young and can still develop physically and mature mentally, but he does need to toughen up

No one ever said the dude wasn't talented.

He does, however, have some mental health issues and quit on his team midseason.

Paid twice.

He won't be getting paid in the NFL so good for him I guess.

lol what a coward fanbase you hail from. florida didnt want to play because theyd already locked the east. LSU offered to play you flunkies anywhere. there, neutral field, BR etc. i will forever and always loathe you people for trying to change the narrative to safety as if Louisiana didnt receive record flooding that very year. That win was 1 of 3 your shite tier fanbase got to enjoy the past 10 years and no amount of thrown shoes or losing seasons will make me hate yall less.

Get 'em reel!

I do understand the consternation from LSU fans. If the roles were reversed, Gator fans would be howling. UF has been the beneficiary of quite a few transfers, and I really don't like the way it is right now because it seems like there are very few players you can count on to:
a) Stay on the team
b) Play in all the games
c) Give 100% effort.

Love all the clowns who keep claiming UF has no QB. Based on what exactly? Nobody has any idea how good or bad Emory Jones will be. However, we do know he has an absolute cannon, he’s athletic as hell, and he was a highly rated recruit. You can say a lot of things about Mullen but the one thing he’s very good at his developing his QBs. I tell you what....rant better hope Emory Jones sucks because his athleticism jumps off the page and he’s going to be a terror if he has some decent arm talent/can read the field to go with his ability as a runner.

I think the point that most are making is Gilbert isn't going to get near the opportunities in an Emory Jones offense as he would with 2021 LSU.

Because Mullen is going to let Grantham turn him into a 1st Round Outside Linebacker.

How can you not pass a drug test. I’m sure it wasn’t a surprise when he got it.

I watched him play in high school a few years. Kinda lazy at times and wasn’t a team player. Always thought he would be a DGD. He fit the profile perfectly.

Good luck with that, Florida. Make sure your city council bans all synthetic gas station cannabinoids and alter the playbook so he gets out of bounds on every play. If y'all lose a tough game he may have one of those body aches and start thinking about that NFL career.

The dude can't even play this upcoming season lmfao. Quit on his team midseason, moved even further from home despite muh homesick, and now has to just sit around Gville when he could have another productive year in BR. Not only is the guy soft, he seems very unintelligent.
