I think the biggest difference is that Jones can run and we were built for the air raid this season.
Outside of his Freshman season, Emory Jones is rushing at 6.4~ yards a clip on 74 attempts with most teams knowing that he's going to run.
Now Dan has an entire off-season to actually get Emory reps with the first team and run the offense as he wants to, and if he could do that well completely adjusting to a team that wasn't built for how he wants to run it, I have a lot of hope that he'll do well with an offense that he actually wants to build around.
Especially with Bowman and Gilbert coming in.

LSU fans are big mad about this because of the rumors that he had changed his mind and was going to stay at LSU.
Every bit of this was Tim Brewster doing what he's paid to do and Kyle Pitts playing like a Top 10 draft pick.
Honestly I'm most excited about it because it feels like the first time we've hoarded talent just to keep it away from rivals in a long, long time. I would have been 100% on board taking him just to keep him away from UGA, even if there was little chance he'd make an impact.
