LSU fans 12/11/22: Howard is the future and is the most talented qb on the team right now.

LSU fans 1/11/23: Howard has no balls, is 3rd team, and may start in 3 years.

Too late, Holstein is already on campus. He participated in the bowl game practices.

Bad take. He left bc there isn’t competition at QB, the job was promised to JD.

If true, I am justified if I melt over this.

Interesting..

If true then I would love to know the discussions being had between the coaches and major influencers. Given the legacy aspect of this it does have a different look than a run-of-the-mill transfer.

He should play at least one game for Auburn.
Like his Daddy.

That's the reason- he's leaving because a senior is there?

Nah, this is all a big nothing-burger. Howard is leaving because Nussmeier apparently isn't, and would seem to have the job locked up through 2025.
Otherwise, if Nuss left, Howard would have had the job in 2024.

He wasn’t even given the opportunity to compete, you twat. Kelly prematurely said there was zero competition and that Jayden “too scared to throw the ball downfield” Daniels was the starter

As he should be the starter. Realistically Walker Coward isn’t in the same universe as JD or Nuss right now.

In his reps vs Purdue he was dropping the ball out of shotgun snaps and looked shaky… if you think Coward would be good enough to be to be the starter who puts us in best position to win right now then you’re not living in reality and are a complete dumbarse…

Yeah, they're tampering.

They owe us a fricking middle linebacker.

He hit his own offensive lineman.

No doubt he will be good, but his height is always going to be a disadvantage.

I really would’ve liked to see him stick it out and learn as an understudy. Next summer would have been a totally open competition between he and Nuss for the start.

Yet another example of how NIL and transfer portal are gutting the game we love.

Unfortunately, his dad threw 5 interceptions in the 4th quarter against Auburn to blow a 2 TD lead.

No the 94 Interception game at JHS.

The 95 game at Death Valley was the “Phantom whistle” game.

The 96 game was the “Barn Burner” where the old athletic building burned down during the game.

There was a stretch of extremely insane LSU/AU games but they sure were fun to watch.
