Teams like LSU need to wean themselves from the transfer portal and depend on homegrown talent. Louisiana has an endless supply. They had the No. 1 transfer portal team and look at what it got them. Those guys play for the bucks and not the pride of their state or the pride of LSU. Dabo Sweeney would be a great hire.
What happened to the Democrat Party that wanted to protect women but wants men in women's sports?
Dan Holgersen was offensive coordinator for Leach at TT. He became the head coach at West Virginia and had a successful run before one bad year. Now, he is the offensive coordinator at Nebraska and one of the best in the country.
Nebraska is outside the top 10, but I would take Offensive Coordinator Dan Holgersen who was coordinator at Texas Tech before becoming Head Coach at West Virginia where he built the Mountaineers into a successful program.
Those who say no to Dabo obviously haven't looked at the man's ACC and National Championships. We can never get him but we would be lucky if we could. Say what you want but you can't question his credentials.
It was his predecessor, Chris Klieman, who built the NDSU program and he is now the Head Coach at Kansas State. He would be a solid choice for LSU.
What I like best about Kiffin is he knows the SEC. That's important. Coaches who haven't been in this grind have no clue how difficult it is.
Chris Klieman is a very solid choice. Check out his record at NDSU and Kansas State

My hope is that Woodward will soon be fired too.
Because the LSU program has proven it can win national championships. It has done so under 4 head coaches. Ole Miss has never sniffed a national title and likely never will.
Young should not be the main qualification. Young often means inexperienced.

My top 2 choices

My top 2 choices are 42-year-old Lincoln Riley of USC. He had an 87-24 record starting this season.

If not him, Kris Klieman of Kansas State. He led North Dakota State to a 69-6 record, including 15-0 in his final season before he was snatched up by Kansas State 5 years ago. At KSU he has been 30-20. He is a young 58 years old.

LSU leadership would be foolish not to offer Saban. I would expect him to say no thanks. But what if another school made a great offer and he said yes. Wouldn't we be damn fools? All the GOAT could say is no.

Georgia's Mike Bobo is a very good one.

UGA offensive coordinator Mike Bobo might be a good candidate. He's been with the Bulldogs since about 2007 except for a brief 4-year stint at Colorado State

We will beat A&M and Oklahoma. Book it.
You tell him Geaux Girt. Kelly has only been coaching 30 years and has been a winner every place he's been. How long you been coaching deuch bag?
