Why would they be known and unexpected?

3rd quarter was a little funky but looked good for a team with a first time starter at QB and a revamped OL

Agree with this sentiment. We are starting over from the beginning imo.

Kentucky's over/under for the season is only 3.5?

That seems like easy money.

I think Stein will have a punchers chance in any game. May end up 5-7, but could lop some big heads off.

but Kentucky is always a formidable opponent that you have to prepare and plan for.
Their over/under win total is 3.5. No reason Alabama shouldn't win by by 21 points. I dont understand the 10.5 spread.

Early season conference matchups are always tricky. Especially on the road with a green QB.

That's a team projected to win Over/Under 3.5 games.....

I didn't get a chance to watch Bama a lot yesterday.

Anyone who is interested in Alabama, did they look good moving forward or are there some major concerns?

We looked ok. Definitely gotta improve in pass protection. Defense looked decent but hard to gauge against ECU. I wouldn't worry about us until we prove that we can run the ball against a defense with a pulse. We also gotta prove we can stop the room too. I'm glad we had ECU, then Kentucky as our 1st 2 games. It gives us the opportunity to gradually go against stiffer competition until we can gel. Young quarterback made young quarterback errors. Secondary played well but had a couple of busts. Need to get more pressure on the QB. We may be dangerous....the jury is still deliberating.

Because of the projected SoS, which is Top 5.

Minchey looked good yesterday. He was never hurried or touched behind the OL either. There’s some solid pieces on offense as a whole.

Defense is a bit rough but we had all of 3 of our CB starters out yesterday. Played mostly 2s across the board. And the game was called pretty vanilla on both sides so tough to see what we had.

Looking forward to the measuring stick in Week 2 to see where we’re actually at.

We beat them 41-0 with a bunch of walk-ons and second stringers

I think Kentucky is vastly improved from last year personally as well but we will see.

Yep. Y'all don't have Saban anymore. Y'all can bleed. If you bleed, you can die. Not saying we'll be the ones doing it. I do give us a puncher's chance.

KY is the smart side of that bet. You might clean house if you take KY straight up with the money line. Not sure if KY's defense will hold up good enough though.

Well somebody must have let one of the gremlins get wet because there is a whole new crop of them this weekend.

Because Deboer has a tendency to randomly get stuffed in a locker, he is quite inconsistent on what to expect

Looked like a team playing a practice game, because that's essentially what it was.

Also, Bama got a td called back on a phantom holding call so the score looks better for ECU than it should have.

What do you mean? Surely, you aren't talking about us thinking we have a chance to win, are you?
