Greg Sankey Questioned In Court About Trinidad Chambliss' Sixth Year Of Eligibility

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey was questioned Thursday about Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss during the ongoing eligibility hearing in Baton Rouge.
Attorney Tony Clayton asked Sankey why Chambliss is allowed to play a sixth season of college football while the players involved in the current lawsuit are only seeking a fifth year.
According to WAFB's Jacques Doucet, Sankey responded that Chambliss was granted the additional year because of a medical condition.
Chambliss won a preliminary injunction against the NCAA earlier this year after arguing that his 2022 season at Ferris State should not count against his eligibility because of medical issues.
