It’s telling that the only folks left playing baseball or softball are professionals and 10 year olds.

I'm 100% with you. I love baseball and can watch it, but I prefer college sports all day over professionals. Summer doldrums suck lol

The mlb is fricking trash. Let’s all pray for the rise of independent baseball leagues.

The world cup will hold my interest once they into bracket play a bit. Other than that, I am waiting for August camp.

The NFL hall of fame game is the next milestone.

World Cup has been a lot of fun so far. It will get more interesting with the cut down to 32.

Baseball is my favorite sport, so Im good. I enjoy the bucolic pace and nature of this time of year sports wise. Plenty to do outdoors anyway.

So I’ve never been a soccer fan ever. My friends growing up played, my own kids played but I’ve never been a fan. My oldest friend asked me to come watch the US v Australia with him at Court to Table Friday afternoon. First time ever I’ve been interested and enjoyed watching a soccer game. I will be following World Cup going forward as long as US is in it. Maybe that grows into real fandom, we’ll see.

Also, I hold firm that the mlb is “straight running trash”. I hope it folds in on itself 4 times over. frick the adults who ruined the most pure sport ever because of greed.

frick them all. Crash and burn.

I was a huge fan up until the home run chase between McGuire and Sosa.

Then everyone got outed as juicing, and I no longer gave a flip about home run records.

What was once the most iconic record in Major League Baseball was a joke.

That's why I prefer the purity of football. Football players have never used steroids.

Wimbeldon starts next week and the British Open is in mid-July. Also the World Cup is going on through July.

August is reserved for talking shite about the upcoming football season. As our beloved tradition, every football fanbase in America gets to feel like this might be their year, except the Browns.

Time to crank up the spin machine for outrageous predictions for your team and forecasting the doom of your rivals.
