The Big 12(sorta/kinda) is showing a lot of gaps at the seams right now, I think I'd wait until the debris is clear before I'd Schedule any of them.

Actually, that is not what it said. It said it was a "possibility" once Patterson is in place. There is zero chance there has been an actual attempt by TU to schedule A&M while DD is still there.

A&M finally has the upper hand in on the field product and going forward should have the upper hand in recruiting. A&M should lock Texas into a 50 year contract and take the state. Come on Aggies, grow a pair.

As much as I like making fun of aggies - can't say that I blame them - Fook the t-sips. They want sec exposure without coming to the sec? I still give a&m credit for telling them to Fook off and leaving the big 12 and although would like to see this game take place - can't say the aggies are totally wrong for not doing it.

you ranters don't know all of the shenanigans that went on before A&M came to the SEC. How the sips tried to negotiate a deal of t.u., aTm, OU, and OSU to the Pac12 ....without even asking aTm if they wanted to go. As if...THEY controlled our destiny.
We told them to F off. We'll go where WE see our best interests. They scoffed. Dodds referred to A&M as having a "sliver" of east texas. Such a schmuck attitude towards aTm.
We went to the SEC. We wanted to maintain that rivalry game, Dodds & his cronies said "no, they left us, we have no time for them anymore". The sips laughed, and said "new CUSA coach, SEC, oh yeah, you'll bomb". Except we didn't.
And now, being the only Texas team in the SEC, our recruiting is flourishing and they are getting the leftovers. The hand is without a doubt in aTm's favor. Recruiting. Best conference. Marquis home games. Massive T.V. ratings. No "LHN" that actually effectively removes t.v. exposure instead of increasing it.
And now, "big brother" comes crying to us, wanting to schedule us. They have NOTHING to lose at this point.
Dogshit home games that don't interest the alumni in the least.
A washed up coach who's best days are behind him.
A conference with no respect.
Playing second (or worse) fiddle to aTm in recruiting.
Me? Given the direction things are going, I'd love to play them in the Cotton Bowl. Rip 'em a new one. And then just sit and let them stew on that loss to the SEC version of aTm while WE....aTM....decides WHEN we'll finally play again.

This is really a non-issue. With the new playoff coming next year, Texas and Texas A&M will have many chances to play in the coming years.
Oh wait never mind I forgot, aggy hasn't finished in the top 4 since 1939.
