nowhere in the actual article is there a comment from anyone from A&M saying "No thanks" like the title of the article indicates.

Off-topic a bit, but I'm starting to have serious doubts about Brent. Lately he seems to be pushing out sensational BS. (Not that he wrote the headline, but still...)

Tell the Horns to bring it on, because they destroyed our beloved B12!

I'm starting to feel that way too.

The thing about Billy Kennedy seemed as if it was legit and the push back from TexAgs staff members was just homerism.

But when you look at the last few things he has released together there almost seems to be an agenda behind them.

This is ridiculous--If you don't want to play Texas, I never want to hear from them out of yall's mouths again.

This is the pinnacle of stupid. Play your in-state rival. Seriously. You sure as hell don't have one in the SEC.

So in the 40 years the Iron Bowl wasn't played, gumps never even mentioned the word Auburn? Get over yourself.

Why not just play them? You're in a new conference, you've moved on. Show em you're better than them.

Damn. How thick are some of you people? It's called posturing.

A&M leaves, Texas says "we'll never play you."

Douche DeLoss leaves - reporter asks A&M, "Will you play Texas now?"

A&M says, "HELL NO!! they can go frick themselves."

The truth is they'll play when the time is right, just like Missouri and Kansas.

Man some of you people advocating for playing the game are simple. Have you looked at the Big 12 lately? It's a joke. Why give them recruiting ammo by saying, "Hey we play A&M every year." We offered to play when we left, they rejected. The only reason they want to play us again is because they NEED this game. We don't because we are in the SEC. I'm sure the series will resume at some point, but I think we deserve to point and laugh at the mess they left themselves in for a few years.

Don't care.

They are not our rival anymore. Schedule them first game of the season in place of Rice. About the same level of competition.

I prefer playing LSU on Rivalry Weekend. Better program and they are not nearly as douchy as t.u. fans.

lots of pot stirers in dis!

We should play again, but never again on Thanksgiving Weekend as that is now reserved for LSU. Until either LSU, the SEC, or A&M decides not to play that game somewhere on that weekend, Texas will be sent to the beginning of the season as part of the OOC. And I would only do a home/home every 3 or 4 years or so.

Why don't we make them play the first 20 games at Kyle on resuming the series?

Only fair. That's what they did to us.

100% agree with this.

Look at their home schedule next year.
North Texas
BYU
Baylor
Iowa State
West Virginia
TCU

Who gives a flying frick about any of those games? The Big XII is hot garbage. I don't want to give them a primetime, super bowl game. They made their bed so now they can sleep in it and never wake up.

A&M gets Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, and Mizzou next year at Kyle. All 4 games are easily bigger than their best. We're the Jones's in the SEC now.

I am one of the few Aggies who wish we would play the series. Most Aggies feel like playing Texas helps them more than it helps us. While they're right, I don't think that's a good reason not to do it.

Why wont Texas play LSU?

I think this is the $64 question.
