No way they do that to Bama.

And as already pointed out.

A&M LSU is a lock.

At least don’t miss things like this 247.

I stand by 247 for recruiting news, but these are bad projections. They should have let Josh Pate guess.

Why?

Tennessee and Georgia will be tough.

LSU and Oklahoma will probably be decent. A&M may be here too.

The rest will be mediocre at best. Including A&M if we cant manage to make it to decent. Call it 50/50.

Not going to sleep on AU with Freeze, and I assume this means we give up the annual tune up game before Iron Bowl. Are all other teams shedding their FCS game too? That’s also important to know

Could easily see 6 of those teams being ranked by season end, with 3-4 being in top 10. We’re also traveling to Wisconsin early in the season after WKU and USF. Add one more SEC team not named Vandy to that slate and you’d probably wind up with one of the toughest SoS in recent memory.

As a fan I’m all for getting to see fun games, but if those projections were true it would be a pretty poor attempt at parity imo. I’d vote no and simply say try again

I assume that A&M would want Texas or LSU at home each year once we go to 3-6.

Not possible under a 3-6 unless you drop OU as a permanent and add LSU

In a vacuum that works for me though, I actually assume we’ll engineer the neutral sites in the off years so as to be able to say to recruits we will play a game in the state if Texas every single year.

Why do we have five road games? Do teams ever play five conference road games? I thought it was always four home/four away but maybe with Texas and OU entering, that rule is changing.

If this projected schedule holds up, OU only crosses the Mississippi once the entire season. They may have eliminated east-west divisions, but it looks pretty similar to me.

To be honest I'd like to see a bit more hopscotching around (but that would cost more money, which is understandable.)

Can’t be right. Where’s Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma on our schedule?

The rule isn’t changing, 24/7 just did an awful job with these projections

With NIL the deciding factor now, cruitin news & quotes don’t mean much. Visits & public quotes are now bargaining chips to drive up bids.

I have no idea who looks at this and doesn’t think this is a more enjoyable schedule to watch?!

For Mizzou we gain 2 more teams we have real history with in OU and Texas.

Sure we don’t get to play Vandy every year and have to play Bama 2x more but we also get to play Georgia 2x less. It’s a wash. It’s fair & more fun. Bring on the 9th game.

Yes please. With a potential 3 year starter at qb or former 5* rs sophomore qb and the best rb in college football being a junior I will take it.
