All even half-way intelligent LSU fans are not laughing.
We're not amused at all and are pretty much infuriated at this "Scraping the bottom of the Barrel" embarrassingly bad hire.
Look at his stats while a DB coach in the NFL. Among the worst in the NFL and got progressively worse with each succeeding season.
LSU Woke though. Libtard Woodward got what he wanted all along.

As it turns out it's a lot harder to get people to move to Baton Rouge when they've seen a little bit of the country.

This post is pathetic. When the defense is great next year, ban yourself.

Chances of that happening are what, exactly?

Watch him end up doing well, the talent is there to be great.

Not saying he will or won't, but a talented roster is not a guarantee for a great team. Your own Kirby Smart is a perfect example of this. Coaching matters.

I've seen plenty of guys without a "resume of success" win at LSU.
Oh yeah? Name them then.
You have turned into L1U's #1 sunshine pumper.

LSU hired Stuart Smalley?

Meh, can't be worse than Pelini

LSU hasn’t made a single coaching hire that the SEC Rant approved.
But they have 3 different national championship coaches in less than 20 years.

The thing is, it's not just the SECrant that's not approving.

Would you rather have an unproven coach or still have Pelini who you know too well what he proved to be?

I read more about him and he’s a Dave aranda disciple. I think he will be good can’t get much worse

I am just glad LSU was too good for Zach Arnett.

It was a weird hire given that I like the Vikings and there was absolutely nothing to like about the purple people eaters pass defense for a number of years. It wasn't just OK, it was bad.
There were a lot of guys like Charlie Strong just sitting around who know their business and they too dig the 4-3. Bama can plug and play because resumes and past accomplishments in the NFL and college only enhance the candidates with coach Saban.
I don't think that's the case with a lot of other head coaches. It's easy to limit the talent pool if insecurity issues about the person's past resume start creating doubt and worry for your own job instead of just seeing the level of talent available for a splash hire. Hardly earth-shattering info here, happens a lot in big business.
