Let's not get this grouped with the oc hire..the oc hire will be a great one and up a great coach ,I bellieve.
We have had plenty of sources tell us that he was gonna be hired oc by the colts,the colts just promoted qb coach to oc and he was supposedly gonna be in the running for that job ,I'm surprised we got him if that's the case. Plus,joe brady told o that this guy would be his oc if he was hired as a head coach. I'm surprised brady didnt talk him into waiting to see if he got a head job.
The dc hire was meh . You can find some things to like with him ,but you have to dig. That shouldn't be the case for lsu .
But peetz knows our offense better then anyone but payton ,his oc ,joe brady and that's about it. We lost the creativity in the offense when brady left. Peetz will bring that back just based on his knowledge of the system. Hes also turned derek Carroll around for the better.
Peetz hire is a B at worst
Jones hire is a c at best

Joe Brady wasn't the offensive coordinator.
Either way, you could say that Jones has worked under Mike Zimmer and Dave Aranda

What’s wrong with the hire? He coached under Aranda and was DC at a D2 school which had the #1 defense. Imo probably the best option left available
