Bama stacked. Everyone else fricked.

He guarantees them the protections of the almighty AFLAC feathered fowl.

Same way clemson does
They’re already getting paid

The real question is why does LSU have so many players opt out/leave early compared to other teams

The way rookie pay works it's better to comeback and raise your stock to get a better first contract.

Najee Harris - Sr.
Projected as a 2nd-4th round pick. Came back to improve stock
Devonta Smith - Sr.
Loaded receiving class last year. 8 of the first 34 picks in the draft
Alex Leatherwood - Sr.
Loves the tide
Dylan Moses - Sr.
Coming off a season ending injury. Possibly could have fallen in the draft

LSU had 3 players opt out is that many more players than other teams?
The players leaving early are a lot due to they were ready for the draft. Also since they won a National Title the decision becomes a little easier.

What? I thought we were the biggest cheaters by FAR.
How come our guys leave the minute they get a sniff of the NFL?

You ever think that maybe these guys actually LOVE playing for football - not even counting playing football for Saban and the University?
It’s gotta be a pretty sweet thing to do.

Some players take pride in playing for their school, unselfish attitude and willing to come back to improve themselves.

Can we stop saying "opt out"? Those players quit the team. Unless the player had some respiratory condition and it was best for them to not be around large groups of people while this virus was going around, they quit.

Well the guy that was stealing it from cancer kids for them ended up in prison.

I mean, the real answer is Bama’s depth has always been insane. I mean, I think it was the perfect confluence of events that lead to our situation.
The Miss. State loss was demoralizing, but I feel good about the next few years. We should have a much better, more experienced, roster next year.

All players don't come back but maybe a higher % than some programs. IMO, it's primarily the type of kids - not that they are superior or all angels - but you have to love football and want to be better at it to put yourself through the program. Also, the cold business-like atmosphere is a myth. It's certainly not all fun and games, but people know who cares about them and Saban, though not warm and fuzzy, can be fun away from the field but mostly it's that he genuinely cares for his players. Most of them know it.
This year, actually one player probably did opt-out but Saban promised the kids that he would not make any opt-outs public unless the player OK'ed it. He was not a starter but hopefully he will return next year. I don't blame anyone who is spooked or just doesn't want to play this year for whatever reason. It's their decision.

By being a good coach as opposed to a flash in a pan.
