What exactly does “not accepting” look like?

I’m as excited as anyone about Lane Kiffin’s inaugural season. But…we know that the first loss happens and folks around here are going to be losing their damn minds. I can accept a loss or 2 but personally , I will have a tough time accepting anything less than playoffs - yes it’s year 1 but for what we are paying this staff and players playoffs needs to be the minimum expectation. Am i being unrealistic?
Hope no money is exchanged before they sign. Sign them to contracts now!
Seems like every other day there’s some new headline about Kiffin/Ole Miss. Nobody cares anymore. Yet all these talking heads need something to get clicks and boost ratings. Lane doesn’t do himself any favors either by keeping on bringing things up. His standard line if asked ANY questions regarding Ole miss and his departure should be “That’s in the past and I’m focused on my players, moving forward, and preparing for Clemson and next season.” LSU PR team - please give him some lessons.

You broke up. It was messy. No one cares anymore. Just win.
Been awful quiet lately. When those of us with eyes could clearly see that this team was struggling and giving up too many runs (even in those early wins) - yall were literally making comparisons to Skip Bertman and how he liked to experiment with the lineup early in the season.

The funniest comment to me was:
“Wade joins Lane Kiffin, lured away from Ole Miss in the midst of the College Football Playoff, and Kim Mulkey in an athletic department that truly deserves its own reality TV show.”

Guess we are the villain in college athletics now? Love it.

3. He has the best SEC win percentage in LSU history, by a lot.
this is not the flex you think it is given LSU's horrible performance in MBB for decades. We've always been a "football school"
I love the whole bringing back tPear thing. Yes, he's an upgrade from status quo. But if we're being honest about it - is he an elite coach??

- 1 sweet 16 appearance during his tenure.
- .670 overall record, .625 in SEC: Again - good, higher tier, but not elite like other coaches
- No consistent or deep runs in MArch
- Barely won more than half his games at NC State

Will you be happy with a similar record over the next 5 yrs as he had here in his previous 5? I don't think so. People are going to expect more - not just regular season wins, but consistent tourney appearances and he has not shown he can do that anywhere. That said, I'll be cheering for the Tigers regardless.
3 games played. 24 IP, 15 runs given up. ERA of 5.62!! Currently ranked 152 in the nation!! Is this a concern? Stats don’t lie. [embed]https://www.ncaa.com/stats/baseball/d1/current/team/211[/embed]
Winning some games…but just not connecting with the fan base or the state of AL and doesn’t seem like a good cultural fit. Feels like both sides are trying to force it to make it work. Am I wrong?

LSU fans have the butt hurt when it comes to Notre Dame. Just admit Kelly was a shite hire and move on

Kelly was a shite hire. Right move to the right school for the right reasons. Wrong coach.

Calls out Ole Miss hypocrisy. I’m sorry Ole Miss - I gave yall credit for doing what u did in the midst of the playoff run but let’s be honest. This past month has not been a good look for your leaders and yall have shown some absolute insecure little brother behavior.

- AD gets in pissing match with head coach and (unlike other schools who were also losing their HC) did not allow Kiffin to coach
- Spread nasty false rumors about ultimatums and tampering allegations.
- Personal attacks against Kiffin and LSU fanbase
- Golding shows up like an absolute insecure, foul mouthed country boy
- Whining and moaning throughout the whole transfer portal window
- And now this…blatant tampering and being caught red handed.

Shame on yall. Do better. :spank:
This might just take the "This aged well" award for most retarded posts.
So that this insane debate about 2025 Indiana vs 2019 LSU tigers as the greatest CFB team of all time can end once and for all.
Is getting this collection of individual stars to come together and become a TEAM. If that happens, we could have something special folks. But do not underestimate how difficult that is. In this era of ME…how will he get these players to think and act like WE. Excited for this class!
On offense:
QB: stacked
WR: loaded
RB: w durham now staying should be good

Where else are we needing depth? Is O Line our only issue?

So is Leavitt a done deal or not?!?
