I don't think any recruit who went on to be drafted should be in the discussion for biggest bust. Some may not have lived up to the hype, but they did enough in college to get a look from a pro team.

Maybe just throwing it out there.

The #1 overall pick was a bust?

BJ Scott has to be up there. Five star from mobile that signed with Alabama in 2008. Rarely played. Switched positions and then transferred. I don’t think he even made the NFL as a UDFA.

Edit: just looked it up He was encouraged to sit his JR year which is what I was remembering but played in 11 games. He just had much worse stats his JR year.
Edit 2: Just so you cocks know I don't consider him a bust at all. Was just trying to figure out why someone would suggest it.

Ronald Powell for us.
Was one the highest touted recruits in a long time. Ended up not being very impactful. Floyd and Easley were significantly better.

Driskell is on an NFL roster. He should have never signed with UF.

For me, I couldn’t wait to see what Brandon Miller was going to do in Athens. He’s from down the road a bit but I still consider him local like ThomasDavis, but unlike Davis it never clicked for Miller. I think the game never slowed down for him and he was more worried about where he’s suppose to be on the field than playing football and making the play.

Ryan Perilloux, QB, LSU.....
He was supposed to win 5 Hizemans......

5-star DT Quay Evans came to state, left after his freshman year without playing a single down then murdered a guy years later and is sitting in a prison cell right now.
That’s gotta be all-time bad.

Is it Russell Sheppard that was a big time recruit, failed at LSU, but made it on an NFL team?

Chris Davenport and Anthony Johnson were embarrassingly big busts.

BS on Perriloux. Without him we don’t beat Tennessee in the 2007 SEC championship and then win the National Championship against Ohio State. No Ryan no Championships. Not a bust.
The all time bust at LSU would be Chris Davenport.
