If that argument applies to football, why not baseball?

Well, one thing is for sure. Ole Piss won't be winning a NC in baseball this year.

Bingo...just another example of how a stupid statement is stupid. Fortunately, unbiased folks believe it's ridiculous.

Because baseball has a significantly bigger playoff system.

Is every Conference Champion in Basketball and Baseball represented in their playoff system ? That is why it doesn't hold true in Football. Hell, in football you can not even win your division and get an invitation over a Conference Champion.

Ahh

Watch this folks, I am going to put Alabama fans and some others in a logic coma

Y’all are using baseball to support the notion it’s ok in football that Bama didn’t win the sec but made the playoffs

Please show me a year in college baseball a conference champ didn’t make the playoffs while another team in their conference did

Gump mental gymnastics in 3,2.......

Lsupride87, please tell me that you were born limited, like in a god-given “logic coma.” I hope that nothing like a horrendous drug overdose, or maybe exposure to Louisiana public school education, happened to your brain from birth to this foolish post? It would make me more sympathetic if I knew yours was a congenital condition.

Yea, did you know Auburn Basketball got in the tournament/playoffs even though they weren’t even the best team in their state?

Same reason it doesn't apply to basketball.

How many schools have baseball teams that compete on this level?

How irrelevant are regular season baseball games?

Where did I, or the original post in this thread, say SEC champion?

We need only go back a whole 2 playoffs ago in college football to see a conference champion stay home while a team in their conference played in the playoffs......
