They have the as good of a résumé as anyone. They've only lost to arguably the best playing team right now in one of the most hostile stadiums. Would they beat Clemson or Wisky right now?

Only if Ohio State beats Wisconsin

They’re in if OU or Wisconsin loses. Otherwise I don’t think they do

No, they don't.

If Wisconsin beats Ohio State and OU wins, Bama stays home.
Either of these teams losing opens the door for Bama.

I just don't see that happening

Their quality win was Lsu, so I think that an argument could be made about their resume

We need help. We aren't getting in otherwise and I have no issue with that.

I believe they looked like dogshit in their last game.

I'm sorry but I don't want to see Bama win another national championship after not even winning their division. The 2011 NC was very unsatisfying. The 2009 NC was a million times sweeter. 2012 and 2015 were way better experiences as well.

They'll back that arse in.

2 sec teams getting in with a weak sec conference
One team who didn’t even win their division with a strength of schedule in the 50-60s. I don’t know if that’s a slam dunk even if Wisconsin loses

They shouldn't. Anyone who thinks they should hasn't been watching them.

The only way Bama gets in is if TCU beats Oklahoma. Ohio State, as a conference champion, fresh off a win against the only remaining undefeated power 5 team, gets in over Bama who couldn't win their own division, let alone conference, and has only 1 win over a ranked opponent and lost to the only other one they faced.
The question isn't whether or not they are a top 4 team...sorry, it's not. The purpose of the playoff is to determine who the #1 team is and if a candidate for #1 was very recently eliminated as a possible #1, they shouldn't be there.

Maybe, but their "resume" isn't great, and they have not looked good for much of the year.

It's real simple Oklahoma and Clemson aren't losing. The AU/UGA winner is in, and if Wisconsin beats OSU they are in, if OSU wins Bama is in.

Yeah ... except that I've been watching everyone else as well.
It's not like Bama is miles behind any other team projected for CFP.
Their one loss is way better than Clemson, Syracuse, OU, and a host of other teams.
tOSU should not sniff CFP.
In this 4-team scenario ... I take way less exception to Bama getting in now .... vs. the BCS way in which they got the nod over OK St.
