Clemson/Miami winner is in
Oklahoma wins and they are in.
UGA wins and they are in.
Wisconsin wins and they are in.
USC wins PAC-12.
If TCU, Auburn, USC and Ohio State wins with only 2 losses and a conference championship to show off, one of them will get in before Alabama.

You've gone 3 times and come home empty handed twice.
Let's look at the teams who have and how they've done
Alabama 3-2 1 title
Clemson 3-1 1 title
Ohio State 2-1 1 title
Oregon 1-1
Florida State 0-1
Michigan State 0-1
Oklahoma 0-1
Washington 0-1
Maybe Bama gets some help and gets in, maybe not. But considering the last 2 title games does anyone think they don't want to match up Bama and Clemson again?

If OU and Wisconsin win, there's no room for Alabama.

I think if bama gets in it sets a dangerous precedent. They really have done nothing to earn this spot despite not winning a damn thing
You can point to Ohio State last year but they actually beat a team on the road who won their conference. I wouldn’t have put Ohio State in last year either but they at least had something
I know we like to have fun with everyone here but Alabama is hanging their hat on beating a team that lost to Troy. Just think of that

If Oklahoma and Wisconsin both win their title games I think Bama is screwed.
If either of those teams lose, Bama is in.
Winner of ACC and SEC title games are in for sure.
But Bama will definitely get in over TCU or Ohio State if they win their conference title game. And if they don't that's pure SEC fatigue on the part of the committee.
I actually hope they do get left out so that we can use it fodder to lobby for a 6 team playoff with a first round bye for #1 and #2. More chaos is good for the future. So go ahead and pick the Buckeyes, committee members.

I can't fathom why any Alabama fan would even want to go to the playoffs after Saturday.

My God....OSU is not getting into the playoff. I don't care what happens this weekend. Every potential 2 loss team in the nation is better than OSU.
UGA BETTER
AU BETTER
OU BETTER
TCU BETTER
CLEMSON BETTER
MIAMI BETTER
WISKY BETTER
And 1 loss Bama is better too
And I don't even know who's in the Pac12 CCG but they are likely better as well.
OSU needs to just be happy they beat Michigan this year.
This is a pointless argument though. Wisky is going to win by 21 or more.
Playoff will be AU, Clemson, Wisky, OU.

The only way Bama gets in is if TCU beats Oklahoma. Ohio State, as a conference champion, fresh off a win against the only remaining undefeated power 5 team, gets in over Bama who couldn't win their own division, let alone conference, and has only 1 win over a ranked opponent and lost to the only other one they faced.
Nope. That beat down at Iowa did Ohio St in. With 2 losses even winning the B10 will not get them into the playoffs. Alabama will make the playoffs if Wisky or Oklahoma loses.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen with this team.

It's really that simple. There's not much debate this time around. If OU and Wisconsin win, then you'll have 4 conference champions with better resumes than Alabama, and Bama will be left out.
If either of those teams lose, it's pretty clear cut that Alabama gets in. You can't justify putting in Ohio State with two losses including a humiliating blowout by Iowa over Alabama. auburn will have had two close losses to a playoff team and a good team, with wins over two different #1 teams. That's a completely different scenario.
