For a real world example I know several Chick fil a owner/operators. We talk pretty candidly. Most of these guys are working themselves to death with anywhere from 70-100 hour weeks and making $100k - $140k a year. Some get a company car thrown in. I averaged $348k per McDonald's franchise I own and if I were still working in a physical store I wouldn't be working 70 hour weeks I would probably be doing closer to 50-55 hour weeks. So, who would you rather be? Making $348k per year owning a McDonald's working 55 hours a week or $140k at a Chick-fil-a making not even half as much for almost double the hours?
Pretty easy pick there.

The Holocaust was far worse than Slavery. You wouldn't know it though because one group of people have managed to overcome it (and in a shorter time frame) and one group is still using it as an excuse for their failures centuries later.
