Michigan State is ranked #16, and Washington State will drop.

Instead of Iowa? How's that work?

Instead of playing nine conference games, we drop one of the cross-division games (Iowa) and throw an FCS school in the mix right before our toughest game nearly every year.

Besides the fact that I'm not sure, based on every other game in their season, computer rankings and my eyes that Iowa is any better than current-day Florida State is.

Massey has Iowa at #26. I don't really care about your opinions of the games or your eyes...

UNLV lost to Howard

Cool story. Ohio State didn't play Howard. Mercer isn't even a good FCS team.

Alabama's SOS is #46 per ESPN and #54 per Sagarin. Ohio State's SOS is #50 per ESPN and #42 per Sagarin.

One of those teams will improve that this weekend, and one of them will be sitting at home watching on TV.

Ok, so Michigan State and LSU both get added to this list then, giving Ohio State 3 good wins and Alabama 1.

I mean, your one "good" win lost to Troy at home. Sure, go ahead and count that if it helps.

Again - it's pretty simple. Ohio State will have a better collection of wins and an uglier collection of losses.

It should be pretty simple. As I've said multiple times, the one data point in your favor is the Iowa loss. Everything else sits in Ohio State's column.

My point is that Bama has very little to value.

so basically your only claim to get in is because the country is sick of seeing bama in it every year. I cant wait until urban bitches his way in to realize he has to face AU and that fake heart condition flares up.

Wait a minute ... are tOSU fans on here talking shite after being blown the frick out at home by OU and on the road to Iowa?

These were not close losses at all.

These games were not competitive.

Best thing for tOSU to do is just roll over and let Wisky beat them ... for the sake of the B1G.

I've made no such claim. I don't think either team should be in. My only argument is that Bama is and should be sitting behind Ohio State if they beat Wisconsin this weekend.

Also, it has zero to do with anyone's "illness" from seeing Bama in the playoff. If Bama had a better schedule, they'd have a better argument.

LOL - Massey has Florida State at #32. So, like I said, basically a toss up.

Massey also has UNLV at #125 and Mercer at #170. So........

Illinois is ranked #129 in Massey. Mercer is ranked #170. So, congrats on your tough struggle the week before Michigan. I'm glad we didn't get stuck in that situation.

Florida State is #39, so basically, no it's not a toss up.

"Basically" almost a toss up.

So, literally every comparison you made favored Ohio State...like I said.

FCS Wins:
Ohio State - 0
Bama - 1

Well, at least you have us there, I suppose...

You lost by 2 TDs at home.

That's pretty much getting blown the frick out for any supposed powerhouse that's honest about it.

When the chips were down in the 4th ... OU skullfricked you.

Oh ... also ... please address the outcome with mighty IOWA ... did you also not get blown the frick out there either?

Please ... enlighten us about myths.

Are you really saying fsu today is the same team bama played?

The lack of Francois wasn't nearly as impactful as a lack of D. I think today's FSU is far closer to reality than the perception of FSU at the beginning of the season

In what world is losing by 31 points to Iowa quality? They also got handled by OU at home. OSU has 2 bad loses this year.

If Bama gets in, great. If they don't, that's fine too. But the job of the committee is to put the 4 best teams in CFB in the playoffs. If you lose by 31 points to anyone, it's hard to make the case you are one of the 4 best teams. If not Bama, then go with the Pac 2 loss champion...oh. That doesn't make sense either b/c USC has a 35 point loss on their resume.

And conf championships should absolutely matter to fans and alumni, but if that becomes a trump card for the committee, then it assumes all conferences are equal, which they are not.

Hmmm...when you put it that way...damn. Those 2 losses may very well trump the conf championship. No offense, but I hope we don't find out. I don't want a rematch with Bama. Period. Y'all probably would start Tua and win.

Bama has faced 4 Top 25 teams and beaten 3 of them.

OSU lost to an unranked team by 31. Please justify putting them in over Bama with that on their resume.

tOSU guy ... again, if you want Bama out ... best thing to do is just lose to Wisky.

Your tOSU resume is dogshit. Iowa sealed that deal.

You cannot defend it....so, GTFO.

I don't need to defend it. That's the committee's job, and I guarantee you'll be a lot more disappointed if they put us in than I will if they leave us out.

The only argument being made here is that Alabama sits behind the conference champs.

Bama has played three Top 25 teams in the only rankings that matter (LSU, MSU, Auburn).
