As unbeatable as Bama has been, their average margin of victory has only been 28, they have trailed multiple times, and they have had more than one game be actually competitive. That is a function of having so many "still pretty good" teams to line up against.
Nebraska had only one game where they trailed at any time, and that also produced the closest game (a 14 point win over Wazoo). Nobody else got within 3 touchdowns, and the average MOV was 38. The Big 8 was nowhere near the gauntlet the SEC is, but they still destroyed #2 Florida in the Fiesta Bowl by nearly 40 points.
It would be a heck of a game, and I don't know which way I would bet. Would probably lean Nebraska, though.

Bama's speed and physicality would fricking destroy their world in the triple option. The physical makeup of players has changed a lot in 20 years.

Different eras. 16 Bama is too fast on defense for a triple option to be effective. Maybe I don't know enough about the 95 team. Did they have any downfield passing threats?
That's the only way to beat this Bama team.

'95 Nebraska and it's not even close.

Nebraska would actually be able to take advantage of Bama giving the ball away 4x a game.

Bama still has (up to) 3 games to go before I would even think about trying to make a comparison like that.

Bama. Those Nebraska players are in their 40's now.

Different eras. Too complicated to predict.

The Big 8 in 1995 was probably a good bit better than the SEC is in 2016. Our conference just flat out sucks this year. The Big 8 had 4 teams finish in the top 10 (Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas State, Kansas) that year and Nebraska blew the other three out of the water.

HGH and horomones in food tends to do that

Give me Nebraska. Bama turns the ball over too much.

Neb. They took advantage of partial qualifiers, so it is not a good comparison.

Maybe if 95 nebraska players were trained and conditioned in a 2016 manner. If you just moved the 95 team as is forward in time they would get absolutely destroyed on the lines and thus lose

1995 Nebraska and it isn't close.
