They looked like they paced themselves for a 90 minute game and got more than they bargained for. It’s a shame that Cape Verde couldn’t pull it off, but still one of the best games I’ve ever watched.

That goal is a highlight if it was against another African team in a friendly. It’s against the world #1 in the World Cup in extra time. :lol:

I honestly disagree, I think the scoring is good where it is. Soccer games don’t last four hours like college football, so less scoring is fine.

I’d rather see more goals from formerly offside passes and less from penalties though.

Unless I don’t understand the rule, you aren’t offside based on a single body part. If any goal scoring part of him is onside, then he’s onside.
