Bama. Nebraska ran every play. Would not work.

They played a piss poor florida defense that made their offense look better.

It would be close but Bama wins.

Comparing that to YouTube highlights and saying Bama is far better is like using an iPhone to say Steve Jobs was more innovative than Tom Edison.

Thats rediculous. Both teams have their stuff up on you tube, which is a virtual copy of the televised broadcast. The quality is nearly identical. If you want to compare films, you can do it on youtube just as you could the live broadcast in 1995.

Bama's mystique this year (like every dominant team of any season) is due in large part to relentless media pumping through a 15 week season. You hear and read it almost every day. I still remember the media being even more effusive about 2005 USC, right up until Vince Young ran 4th and 5 in for the MNC-winning TD.

I highlighted all the shite that has zero to do with comparing game film.

shite dude, at this point I have no idea what you are talking about.

I guess you are saying 95 Nebraska has less hype in 2016 than they did in 95? If so, then excellent point...

Oh I get it. I saw them up close and personal. They were a brutal machine of precision and flawless execution.

So is Bama's D. Nebraska wouldnt move on them at all. Hell that game may last forever. Both have good defenses

Nebraska put up 50 on Saban's defense in '95.

Georgia Southern is the closest offense he's played to that at Alabama and they ran over his defense like shite through a tin horn.

Not to be a stick in the mud but the game is so different now I don't know how anyone can compare the two.

Neither of those is the 2016 Bama defense. I have never seen anything like it. Except some o the steel curtain defenses the Steelers used to roll out or the 85 Bears. Those are literally the only defenses ive seen that are better and theyre fricking pros

Nebraska would move the ball. That option attack was amazing and nobody has run it like that in over 20 years. Bama would need to eat clock with their running game and keep their defense fresh. '95 Nebraska handed Saban the biggest loss of his career at Sparty.

Frazier could throw when he needed to as well. That team would have also pounded '01 Miami.

I'm sure most of the people weighing in on this didn't watch that Nebraska team. They were perfection.

Ohio state did too.

I assume there is a point buried in here somewhere, correct?

LOL!!!!

Bama isn't anywhere NEAR the caliber of 95 Nebraska on either side of the ball and they'd get smoked. Stop talking and read so you'll know what the hell you're talking about.

95 Nebraska

Yes they were. In an era where OL and DL averaged about 275. It wouldn't be fair against Bama '16. It's ridiculous.

Just went back an watched their highlight film. Nebraska offense would be mauled, Absolutely destroyed, by Bama's 2016 defense.

Actually I think this Bama D could shut down that offense.

Could Bama's offense score on Nebraska with a true freshman QB?

Dude THIS YEAR'S bama defense is the best ever. Hell look at the streak theyve got going forcing turnovers. Im not saying Nebraska sucked or even would lose. All im saying is that team never faced 300 lb dlinemen that run 4.6. As i stated earlier, neither offense would probably be able to move the ball

I think 16 is better, with the exception of the Ole miss game.

The Bama defense is probably better. I don't think that's fair. The Nebraska defense was also elite though. The Nebraska option was insane though.
