Damn, that's a lot of assumptions in one post. Most people love the HUNH, just take a look at the Oregon/AU BCSNC game - highest ratings draw in cable history.

Your opinion is the only thing that matters and everyone else is a moron. It's the Auburn way.
I also said everyone has a right there own opinion. But even Saban tries pushing his opinion of how people should play on other Teams. Does anyone HONESTLY believe his player safety argument is his sole reason he doesn't like HUNH?
The statistics prove the opposite.

Well at least all Auburn fans are perfect.

Well you're defending the guy that calls the HUNH a "pussy" offense while defending defensive players flopping on the ground faking injuries. Which one of these two are the "pussies" again?

Not really.

I disagree. I don't like the HUNH. I think it's cheap. I encourage the faking of injuries. Why can't they just play regular old ball and not have to speed the game up?
Agreed. And they said even with substitutions, the defense only gets 3 seconds to respond. So some HUNH offenses deliberately run plays to their bench side of the field, immediately subbing players while the defense is still getting off the ground.
It's stupid. I say if you want to go HUNH without subbing, fine. That's fair, 11 on 11. But the defense should have more time to react to substitutions.
This is football, not basketball.

Lulz
Do you really think the game is played the way it was in the 20's, 30's, etc. Dumb post is dumb.

I didnt know the players on the field were calling for substitutions, I always thought it was the coaches. The more I know

the offense is called offense for a reason, they dictate the pace. if your coaches can't see or are not ready for the other teams coaches to sub out players, you have some issues, not related to rules.

The football rules book reads: "Feigning an injury for any reason is unethical. An injured player must be given full protection under the rules, but feigning injury is dishonest, unsportsmanlike, and contrary to the spirit of the rules. Such tactics cannot be tolerated among sportsmen of integrity."
Cal defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi was suspended for one game in 2010 for instructing a player to fake an injury to slow down Oregon's offense.

That was a setup to justify the fake injuries that are coming. Pay attention.

Obviously not talking about the SEC.

Interesting to me that '07 LSU ran just half a play fewer per game than '10 Oregon. Also, '09 Bama ran just one play per game fewer than '10 AU.
That IS interesting. What did time of possession look like for those comparisons?

Death of the HUNH will come swiftly in college football once enough players start faking injuries

No they ran only 1 fewer play all year.
Bama averaged 33:31.00 for TOP.
AU averaged 29:17.93.

If the offense substitutes the defense is given ample opportunity to substitute....read the rule book and learn
