Bitch please. Malzahn's offense revolves around a power running game.
Run plays at a 2 minute pace the entire game
Balanced attack(run and pass)
Heavy misdirection in run and pass game
Stretch the field horizontally and vertically
Throw the book at defenses with specials, fire alarms, and various personnel packages. Plan to go into each game with 7-8 trick plays
Present the option in three different ways
That is his plan on offense. Power run is no where involved. You use misdirection and option instead of just lining up and running. It's not a bad thing, UF did it under Meyer. But it's not a power based attack either. Just running it up the middle isn't a power run. Power run is perfected by LSU and Bama.

No teams get credit in 2011? You meant to add *except LSU, right?
We pulled your pants down in front of the nation in that game. Also, our punter should have gotten a rushing TD against your ST had he not shown his excitement.

LSU does. But only because we respect LSU. Bama as well.

So Iso and dives between the tackles behind a fullback isn't power running?
Power run teams and a few plays are not the same thing.
You claimed you were a team based on the power run.
Only a small amount of your plays are like that. Therefore you are not a power run team.

To be fair, in 2011 LSU was only retrieving their pants that Spurrier had taken during the 90's.
Carry on...

No. Our offense lost to your defense. We did quite well vs Auburn defensively. The new style No huddle hasn't scored more than 20 on us.
Ok

YOur knowledge of Gus' offense could fit in a thimble.

I'm reading all about it right now. The power formations you use.

It's where I got the list from actually. it's a SMALL PART of the offense. So you are not a power run based team. Thanks for playing but I stand by my statement that you aren't one.

“There are so many different spreads, and [Malzahn] is not a horizontal throwing game, zone-read guy,” Johnson said. “He runs the power and the counter power. Seventy-five percent of his running game is a two-back running game, and then he throws the ball vertically off play-action.
“You’ve got the option, the element of power, and then you’ve got the pace and the tempo. That’s what I think really makes it hard to get ready for in college football today.”

yep. there needs to be another official or 2, with someone responsible for keeping track of substituions on every play.

Without the power run element, Malzahn's offense isn't nearly as effective. His biggest home run threats are off of play action passes and fake dive end arounds.

Big 12 is adding a ref this year.
