All teams should be forced to play the Wishbone Offense, dammit, not this pansy-arse stuff Bama runs these days.
If it was good enough for the Bear, then its damn well good enough for Saban.

Herbie speaks the truth. The biggest flopper will be LSU. They were flopping all over the place against A&M.

They sure were. Absolutely inexcusable.

Thank you. You are a realist in my book and probably right, Saban will probably figure out how to counteract the HUNH. But until he figures it out on the field, he'll try to come up with ideas to change it in the league.

I'd just like the rules to punish the behavior. Right now the rules don't discourage it and we have coaches talking nonsense about HUNH being dangerous instead of just admitting it is a style of football our conference generally does not embrace.

Saban will likely counteract it like he and Bob Stoops developed to stop Tebow. In 2008 we tried to relentlessly play chess against the UF offense in the SEC championship game. If there tendency was to do something in a particular situation Saban played a D to stop that tendency. It worked for the most part but they still made plays by breaking tendencies and won the game. The next year instead of subbing a new personnel package that was PERFECT for stopping what we thought Florida would run we went with generally one Defensive package. This package was a Dime but the sixth DB was Barron and played the whole game like a LB. We didn't get caught up in the chess match and just went and played.
If I had to guess that is what Saban will do, focus less on having to run off and on a new package because it perfectly matches what ATM will likely do in a situation. Instead find a single personnel grouping that is good enough, play cloud over the back of it and instead of trying to strategize the game out just let the D go out and make plays.
If the No Huddle turns football from Chess to speed checkers then do the same on D.
