The refs move as soon as the offense as set. Watch Oregon games. As soon as the QB is ready the ref moves every time. Defense is still scrambling.

But the play doesnt start until the ref behind the QB blows his whistle.

NCAA should go the way of the NBA "flop rule" and fine Alabama and LSU players every time this happens.

Are these really so different, both are fruit, both are roughly the same size, both are good for you, and both make a tasty juice.

If we're discussing things as stupid as supporting players faking injuries then we can discuss the similarity of apples and oranges.

That's because they didn't sub.

This thread...what it has attracted. Good grief.

No. They actually don't. If they did, they wouldn't be discussing these things as possible rule changes.

They are complaining about the officials' implementation of the rules, not the rules themselves.

Yes, the officials do not do their job many times and don't allow a reasonable amount of time for the defense to sub in. That is not a fault of coaches, players or scheme.

Ehh I tried. I don't really care about no huddle. We haven't lost to a no huddle team yet . Just wanted to be a dick.

Not making excuses for faking injuries, but if you run a HUNH you need to expect injuries on defense. I can't stand when a coach whines about a defender being injured.

That's because they aren't subbing

There is no rule that says the refs have to allow the defense to get set when no subs are made.

Does Herbstreit not know about the new rule where you have to run a few seconds off the clock now or use a time out? That's how the NCAA is combating this possibility. I think it'll be effective.

No. Our offense lost to your defense. We did quite well vs Auburn defensively. The new style No huddle hasn't scored more than 20 on us.

This is what you said.

ETA: Granted that game was a fricking offensive abortion, but you are still wrong.
