Not much to speak of. Bama sucks, weakest BCSCG participant of all time
If you take a look at all 1-loss teams that made it to the BCSNCG you could make that argument. BAMA has the fewest wins against teams with WINNING records EVER to make make it to the BCSNCG
That being said the pool of 1-loss teams in the BCSNCG is very small ...only 9 to be exact (10 when you include Bama)
So is bama the weakest BCSCG participant of all time, yes if you base it on the # of wins vs. teams with winning records. But I think we all know more goes into this question than just who you played. ***That's not BAMA's fault though...that's just how the schedule panned out***

Their best performance...that's easy...
Beating LSU even when scoring three points less than we did...now that is impressive...

9to6 but I will be happy on the 9th, because we won the SUPER BOWL OF THE SOUTH the SEC champs. I still expect a great game, but either way the SEC wins another NC game!

While I rarely post there myself, I'm a big time lurker on the Poli board and I've always had an appreciation for you.
Your posts on the SECR blow chunks, though.

What is LSU's most impressive performance?
1. Blowout of Oregon in game 1 with a backup QB on the road in Cowboys stadium.
2. Arky beat down and blowout
3. UGA beat down and blowout, on the road in the Georgia dome.
4. Beating bama on the road
ETA: 5. Blowing out West Va on the road

Bama has dominated everyone they've played, except LSU.
It's not Bama's fault that they didn't get to beat some SEC teams with better records. Aside from a couple of missed FG's, they've done all you can ask.

You would know about blowing seeing how much blowing you and your fellow gumps along with coach midget did to get a team that didn't win a damn thing into the BCSNC game.

By far, the heroic effort they were able to forge in overtime against LSU; this will be talked about for years.

We can't help what happened to them after the fact.
You are correct, but that doesn't change the fact that those teams were not as good as their records suggested at that time. LSU couldn't help what its opponents did before or after playing them either. Likewise, it doesn't change the fact that it was one of the toughest schedules played by any team this season.
As a side note:
Other than PSU fans, Bama fans were the only people delusional enough to think that Penn State was really any good.
LSU played one of the toughtest schedules dominated all season with exception of Bama AT Bama, which they won.
LSU SOS > Bama SOS
LSU record > Bama record
LSU 9 Bama 6
LSU clear and unanimous #1; Bama arguable # 2 based on "strength of loss" to Daddy LSU.
Sorry if you can't deal with the facts.
Enjoy getting the beating you deserve on january 9th.

11-1 would be LSUs best record from 1958 to 2010. It's a down year for us.
You can't be serious. You Bama fans were here spewing how the 2011 Bama team was Saban's best ever and how it was much better then the 2009 Bama team. That talk mysteriously stopped after Nov.5th and you've changed your tune to Bama having a down year?

Bama's in the BCS game all the whining and crying in the world will not change this. If we beat LSU then Bama will be national champs and again all the whining and crying will not change that. If Bama did not deserve the chance to play then it would not have happened. Could you make an argument for one of the other one loss teams sure but the same could be said for Bama.
Learn to deal and you will live longer!

Not crying about Bama getting into the BCSCG. Just reminding Bama fans of their place. Will be more than happy to watch LSU beat Bama AGAIN, this time more convincingly.

Okay, to the thousands of posts crying about missed field goals...
if you must speculate about coulda's, here's the truth: whatever Bama would have done differently, then LSU would have had an answer. You can't expect to change one thing and everything else stay the same. This LSU team will find a way to win. That's who they are.

Signed,
Alabama's record in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007.
How many wins has Bama had to forfeit in the past 20 years due to cheating? You don't know? I'll tell you:
TWENTY NINE. (LSU -- ZERO).
Bama's record vs LSU in the SEC Championship Game era: 9-11
# of SEC Championships in the SEC Championship Game era: LSU 4, Bama 3
# of Bowl Wins in the SEC Championship Game era:
LSU 11, Bama 9
# of National Titles in the BCS Era: LSU 2, Bama 1
# of non-winning seasons in the SEC Championship Game era: LSU 5, Bama 5
Here's what happened...Gene Stallings left Bama, they sucked for about 10 years, and then Nick Saban came and Bama fans want to act like they've been dominating the SEC since 1938. Fact is, LSU woke up and took over, and Bama fans can't handle the fact that LSU is the premier program in the SEC now.
