Your historic thread about false Bama "natty" claims is on my mind.

That thread is bitch made and embarrassing.

Nobody asked you.
For those in the arena, my son will be in the halftime free throw contest.
Ok I was wrong. That was just the anthem rehearsal.
Opening delayed by 30 mins to clear out the previous session. Dude was singing the national anthem to an empty arena when we walked in. :casty:

Let me remind you that this is the first event of its kind. Calm down just a little. It's not going to be PERFECT at all.

What in the hell are you talking about? The only thing unique to this tournament is the NIL aspect. If these organizers can’t put on a quality event, it’s not because it’s the “first of its kind”. There’s no reason at all this isn’t a top notch experience other than half-assing by the promoters.

Sup homie!

As long as I don’t have to update it, do what you will.

I agree. And there’s zero fan experience activities. Such a huge opportunity, largely wasted. I’m glad the teams are getting the NIL money but this could be so much more than it is.

Brotha man, how have you been ? LTNS.

Lurkin and workin, my brother. Doing good except my eyesight is worse and everything hurts when I wake up in the morning. In the final stages of securing a new gig that will finally bring me back south.

But right now, mostly just trying to keep my 15 year old son from taking pamphlets from strangers on the Vegas strip.

What have you been up to?

Hope Dylan Harper is a bit less exciting tonight.

Even if he is, we have to account for Bailey. He had an off night but could easily be a problem. Thankfully, I doubt Philon struggles again as badly as last night.

If you were there in Bama gear, I probably high fived you at some point. Apologies if it was next to you at the urinal. The composure and grit they showed last night is encouraging. It’s clear we still don’t have a consistent personality as a team. Sears trying too hard to facilitate instead of dominating early to take pressure off the young guys. Flat chemistry with a lot of the lineup. But we saw shades of old Sears at the end.

The refs were objectively awful. Tugler should have fouled out in the first half. Every screen he set was either sticking his leg and hip out, or putting hands on our guy and giving a little shove. We finally started hedging on screens more in the second half and that made a difference.

Mo

Houston fans aren’t the worst, but it’s not for a lack of effort.

The logistics and feel of the event is kind of…sound stage cheap? Like eating at the Cheesecake Factory. You want it to be a little fancy, but it’s just not.

This will continue to be the crowd size for events like this until we figure out how to disincentivize buying up tickets the moment they go on sale just to jack up the price and have them sit on stubhub for a few months.

Side note: Dylan Harper is fun to watch.

Wait til your unannounced family you dont like shows up

I put 500 miles between us several years ago. If they show up unannounced, they’re here to kill me.
I just got tickets to Bama's first two games at the event. 11/26 vs Houston and 11/27 vs Rutgers. They'll play Notre Dame on 11/30 but I want to be home on Thanksgiving.

Mainly posting this to say if you are interested in getting tickets, you might want to get them today. General go-live is tomorrow at Noon central.

If you go to the Impact Tournament website now, click "Buy Tickets" and then select the session. After that you'll have 3 different choices for pre-sale. Choose "IMPACT" and then at the bottom of the next screen use the word IMPACT for the code. Tickets range from $35 for upper rows on the endline to $150 for lower rows on the sides.

You are a gentleman and connoisseur, so I’d expect nothing less. Only a cretin would expose that garment to sunlight and other harmful elements.

Alabama has gotten good play out of their front court in the tournament.

Keep Pringle in the starting lineup. Bring Wrightsell off the bench for Griffen or Estrada. The offense seems to be flowing a little better as is. Pecking order for 3 point shots is more natural. If this lineup can continue to click, and we can bring Wrightsell, Stevenson, Walters, and Dioubate in for quality minutes, we absolutely have a chance against UConn.
I would sit by the radio and listen to games when I was a kid. Started during Buck Johnson’s junior year. And now we’re here. We finally made it.
