No I wasnt serious. It was a statement to illustrate how asinine it is to dissect an 11-1 record, especially considering your team has never done better through 12 games until this year. Let that soak in, never. And yet you still want to pretend Bama's season was a fraud playing in the SEC.
And while it was a tongue in cheek statement, two of the last four years Bama has done better through 12 games (undefeated in 2008 and 2009). So in that sense, 11-1 is only our 3rd best year in the last four. It would be LSUs second best in 50 years.
